Hi lovely NSD gang,

yesterday was a NSD - our first for September. Today we did a big shop - I suppose we should not spend a penny from now till sometime in December.

And Spoon, can you change my pledge, please - we are going for 15 not 12 days. I must have made a mistake when anoouncing before.

    Hello my lovelies!

Hope you are enjoying your weekend. Today was another NSD for me so that makes it 3 NSD's out of 14.
HI

managed a nsd yesterday my first one of the month so very proud. 9 more to go and i have decided no more taking the purse to work and being tempted. No nsd today as i have to post my ebay parcels. All ebay money made is going on debts.
    :p
Donna, if ebay parcels were your only expense, then the day would be an NSD as your buyer covers the P & P charges, yes? Any spending which is recovered from elsewhere (e.g. ebay postage, work related, etc) should not be included as you have not really spent the money

Anyway Spoon, I did not get my expected Saturday NSD as, along with Mr 3Dogs buying a couple of lots at auction which are not included in NSD calculations, I bought some fruit there. Alongside the general household auction, they also run a plant/veg/fruit auction where I bought 2 x box of 6 cantaloupe melons for £1 (so £2), 5 Kgs of conference pears for £1, as well as 20 yellow and orange peppers for £2. Then we popped to A*da to check on their cheap frozen foods which I got loads of yesterday, and got 3 Hagen Das Limited Edition Ice Cream, 6 low cal ready meals, 12 packs of 4 x mini cornetto-type cornets - all for 50p each. They are clearing out some frozen products to make space for their Christas stock apparently - saw it on the Food & shopping Forum and checked it out yesterday so thought it was worth another look today - and it was :j Had to give away some bread, which we rarely use now, to a neighbour to fit it all into my freezers

Anyway, with getting fruit today, and having enough eggs and gammon left for the week ahead, this should mean that tomorrow should be an NSD - it's normally a spend day on Sundays as I always buy fruit, eggs, gammon at the car boot - will report in tomorrow with hopefully my success
