...I was thinking of Vic Reeves so I was way out! :rotfl::rotfl: I do like a bit of the Manics, reminds me of my indie days. I remember seeing them at the Albert Hall - they were fab. I think my fav song is Motorcycle Emptiness in a melancoly type way.
Kerri, you're a genius i was thinking about Vic Reeves too, just got very confused & thought he was called Jim!!!Thats what a long busy week at work does to me obviously!!
Don't think i will get one today as off home to my dad's tonight & i'm sure it's my turn to buy the fish & chips (our treat for a Friday night at home) but will try for at least one over the weekend, fingers crossed!!February NSD challenge 5/150 -

Thanks for the info on the hoi-sin Jinty--I found a bottle in the supermarket today & had a squizz on the label, but almost two quid for something we might not like is a bit of a gambleThe recipe was for that, sweet chilli sauce & oil heated in a pan before adding stir-fry strips of beef & looked really tasty & quick
Looks like it could be good news then Cheryl; did the quack say anything about running again? I've wriggled & wiggled my way around MrS today as me muvva has had me going back for stuff she didn't fancy while we were discussing it three aisles ago :wall: but it's 'free' exercise I suppose..
Sending out Best Wishes to those with thunder-clouds hovering over their lives just now & come back soon as you're all sorely missed x

Yay I had an NSD today, after resisting several urges to buy sweets! I'm now up to 8 out of 12, wow, I might actually make it!
Although I need NSDs on all four weekdays next week to make my target, unless I can manage one on Sunday. You're spelling is effecting me so much. Im trying not to be phased by it but your all making me loose my mind on mass!! My head is loosing it's hair. I'm going to take myself off the electoral role like I should of done ages ago and move to the Caribean. I already brought my plane ticket, all be it a refundable 1.0 -
I think Vic Reeves real name is Jim something, so perhaps not such a distant leap of your imagination THIS time

Hmmm...my quotes seem to have popped up in the wrong order....odd! Firstly, WOW! I've never been called a genius before 'awwww shucks'And I've just googles Vic Reeves (what did we do before Google) and apparently his 'real' name is James Roderick Moir ...so we're all right on this one :rotfl::j
BigMummaF - an idea if you are wanting to try Hoi-Sin.. Adsa are currently doing a 3 for £2.50 on stir fry things atm, this includes a choice of types of fresh noodes, a striy fry veg pack (really good range) and a stir fry sauce, I'm pretty sure hoi-sin would be included.
You could get some frying steak (which is what I did) and cut that to srtips and make a beef stir fry with hoi-sin sauce. I bought one of the offer sets and it made approx 4 dishes, could've prob made 5 had I added some more beef, so its actually pretty good value and one of the nicest stir frys I've ever had at home (tend to find they can taste a bit like warm salad _pale_)
No NSD for me today, but my spends did include a bag of flour from Mr T to make apple crumble from a HUGE carrier bag of apples I have just got from Freegle....errr...apples anyone???:rotfl:Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16
