    Good morning everyone,
Up early this morning, woke up and couldnt get back to sleep!

Good day yesterday, got my shopping done using my last £10 vchr for Mr T, and now freezer is full of various meat items!
Realised I hadnt been doing any knitting for a while, the reason being that I'm totally bored knitting the scarf, so decided to have another visit to the wool shop. Got a pattern & wool for a sleeveless top (in a previous life they were called tank tops, but that name reminds me of the seventies, wearing flares and being a lot thinner than I am now!;)) Anyhoo, the wool & pattern was £14, a wee bit dearer than €bay, but I try to support the wee wool shops as they are as scarce as hens teeth now!:(

Today, OH wants to go to b&M to stock up the goodie cupboard, so we'll do that, although he will have to pay as I'm determined to get to target today!;)

Other than that, I'm going to make chutney with my foraged apples (apple, date & ginger) and put it away for C-day presents. Oh, and do my knitting:)

    Have a lovely day everyone:)

Morning (errr sorry...afternoon folks..I'm not a good morning person so still in me jammies!)

Beanie - cheers for the congrats, it was a nice feeling to cut up the card (after I'd spent 5mins on the phone declining additional offers for exteneded credit, 0% offers...oh and a nice bank loan too....and there was me thinking we still had a credit crunch on)

Jinty - your chutney recipie sounds yummy - I am still waiting for the appearance of elusive fresh cranberries for mine but have a glut of apples from Freegle (apple crumble day today) - what's your recipie for apple, date and ginger chutney? (or is it a family secret!?) :D

I think I might possibly clock up my target today, I have plenty to get on with today and just really can't be ar*ed to go out. I could do with a better dish for my crumble, I only really have a big Le Cruset casserole pot that is of a suitable size but it's a bit deep, and a large ceramic dish but it's prob a bit tooo big - however, I'll manage with what I have for a first attempt.

    Have a good day everyone.
