Afternoon all! missed you all yeaterday (and the 4 pages I had to just read through) due to work stuff...

Jinty - well done you with all that organised cooking, I'll be round later to pick up my crumble unless it's been gobbled already? ;)

Fenna - the good thing about this challenge is that you can use whatever rules work best for you. This is my second month of the challenge and like you, I'm not sure that I'm seeing any positive results in the ole bank balance dept, but it is deff making my think more about what/when I spend.

Dopey - well done to Mr Dopey (and you for navigating all those people!) Good job no one mistook Mr Dopey for a jaket spud in that tin foil :rotfl::rotfl:

Glad we got rid of the troll....but I did miss the Pirate day - booooo!

Well I have had a busy few days with work, long business reviews for the last quarter - I was out for dinner last night, had a lovely meal at a place nearby us that I didn't even know existed - right by the river, felt a bit nervous as I suggested where to go but everyone had a fab time and the food was gorgeous. It was on work expenses so (this is your bit Spoony...) NSD #10 for me was achieved :jplus, one of the other departments paid the bill so I won't come off my dept's budget (part of my job to look after it - lots of Excel and number stuff....) so it was double :j:j!

No NSD today as had to pick up bread and eggs (have a craving for them recently and they will go with lots of things in the fridge), forgot beans but will just have to do without as I plan for tomorrow as a NSD too. Thurs won't as I need petrol but hoping to beat my Aug target....

sorry for the super long post - making up for not being online yesterday I think :o
