No, I think I was in denial about the extent of our mentalness:rotfl::rotfl:
I feel very organised this week - I'm the type of person that needs to be organised or I get a bit stressed. Doing this challenge has helped a lot as I am now thinking ahead and getting my spends sorted in the one day. ;-)

Good morning everyone,
Well done to Mr Dopey,:T:T I am in awe of all these folks that run in these event, mainly cos a few years ago I did the Race for Life and I was bloomin knackered! Great story too, PDD, you are such a funny writer - how about doing a blog?;)
Just getting organised for work, got my lunch packed - leftover bangers and mash from last night - yum! Today is a planned NSD!! Will confirm tomorrow!
Have a lovely day everyone:)

5 spend days in a row - eeeek!! and the bank balance is looking a bit shaky because of it  Hopefully today will be the start of 3 NSD's in a row, as long as I haven't forgotten any groceries.
Just had a quick catch up - the pirate talk made me giggle!!
PDD - well done to Mr Dopey, thats a real achievement!! And well done to you for your heroic efforts to get to the finish before him
Hope everyone is well, back later to report a NSD hopefully xxTrying to jump back onto the moneysaving wagon .... :cool:0 -
Not been on here for a while again, September is so busy with work - that must be why i've not been spending much!
I'm now up to NSD 11! So i think i will up my target to 18.
Even won £5 on a scratchcard the other day (and my OH treated me to the scratchcard). Things are looking up.:TFinally, debt free for the first time since I was 18!:DFirst baby born: 21/05/2014Second baby born: 04/03/20170 -
I got an NSD yesterday, taking me to 5!
Eek, I need four this week and four next week (and next week only has four days in September) to make it. I can do it!!!You're spelling is effecting me so much. Im trying not to be phased by it but your all making me loose my mind on mass!! My head is loosing it's hair. I'm going to take myself off the electoral role like I should of done ages ago and move to the Caribean. I already brought my plane ticket, all be it a refundable 1.0 -
....Tiz refreshing to meet a likeminded soul instead of all the usual "oh no, I could never consider anything that wasn't a Davidson/at least 130bph/British-Built" brigade. There's not a bike out there that doesn't have a purpose and a context. Thank God for £200 running-wrecks and £40k specials, we need'em all.
Give me the grunt, the roar, the heartbeat & the wonderful whiff of gypsum any time...
Like others I was all prepared to set sail on Saturday--had written a long post & it disappeared into the ether--& wanted to say to Fenna in particular:-
If you feel able to give us an indication of what your daily routine involves, we may be able to offer up some suggestions to help you along the NSD Challenge. As an example, do you need to use public transport for work; consider children's activities; have trigger points like a coffee in a particular shop when you buy nothing else in there; that sort of thing. There's a lot of people here who will have had the same quandary, so just give a holler OK.
Nos 13 & 14 for me, & it could have been 15 if only I had started walking around the market from the other direction Sunday :doh:That meant the bakery with mahoosiff belgium buns was at the 'start' & I figured I was buying a bag anyways....& wouldn't you know it! Not a sniff of anything I liked so came home with cakes we really shouldn't be eating & not a lot of help in carrying my purse & diary about
Full time Carer for Mum; harassed mother of three;loving & loved by two 4-legged babies.

! I'll be thinking of you!
 MSE is so slow at the moment.
Would you believe it, I managed to get all me bits sorted for this week early, logged on, typed up post and ..................nothing. I had my pirate name all ready to go (can't for the life of me remember what it was though - I can remember I liked to solve everything by fighting - yep, that's me)
Glad you got rid of the troll, did they walk the plank? (or were they pushed?:rotfl: )
Wasn't able to wait for MSE to get back up and running but here I am now. Missed yesterday but I was being a bit BMF. It wasn't cakes and bags for me though, DD went to GP and whilst waiting for tablets I popped into two local £ shops. BIG mistake. Very annoying as if there was no queue in pharmacy I would not have had half an hour to spare
Was an NSD on Sunday and WILL be an NSD today. So that's 15 NSDs please. Thanks Spoon.
Hope everyone's well.Life is knowing which bridges to burn and which bridges to build!
