Hya all, been MIA for a few days, been trying to lurk, but not even managed much of that either.

Not very good on the NSD front though....been buying stuff for DS1 to go back to Uni, as well as trying to get a new moblie for DS2. The lad in the shop made a complete a**e of it all on Sunday, resulting in our credit card being locked for three days and no phone at the end of it all!!
:mad:. While the boys were (not) getting the phone, I browsed round Lakeland (new shop...what fun!!) and got a few things...which I wouldn't have got if I had known they weren't getting the phone!!

Last night we discovered our home phone has died (not sure how long it's been like that though!!), so DH has had to get a new one today...thus spoiling a perfectlly good NSD!!

Can't see me getting the full quota of 18 this month...16 at a push, if I really try hard...but I am off to the Malvern Autumn Show on Saturday where I usually get a few nice unusual christmas gifts (often cheap too!). Also DH is taking DS1 up to Uni that day, and may well take him to the local supermarket to stock up with fresh stuff. So the usual 2 NSD weekend won't be happening two weeks in a row!

Oh well, I suppose it's still not too bad...at least my expendidture is under target (for the moment :o)

    So up to
12 NSDs now spoon.....off to knock back the bread and get it ready for the oven, then hopefully get some sewing done.

Another NSD for me yesterday :j had to take OH to the hospice for a checkup on his lymphedema but parking their is free. His swelling has gone down but the nurse was concerned by the redness in his leg incase it's cellulitus so I've got to pick up a prescription for some antibiotics for that. We still haven't got the results back from the lung biopsy, we were told we'd have the results in a week and it's been two weeks now so the waiting round is horrid. His consultants going to chase them up and hopefully get in touch on Friday to let us know. So I'll have to pay for the prescription for his antibiotics tomorrow and I need a few things from the supermarket today. Hopefully I'll manage a NSD on Friday. Think I only need 4 more to hit target so hoping I hit target!

    Hope you get results soon.
It might be worth loooking into a pre payment certificate for prescriptions.
    Positive vibes your way.
    Take care.

  • Today was going to be NSD number 4 for me.
I did spend £1.95 posting a book I'd sold but not only will I receive £3 for it anyway, but I also made £65 selling something else. Oh, and I spent £2.96 on Diet Coke (BOGOF at Mr T)....so I won't count it as a NSD.

Tomorrow's going to be seriously expensive, buying a passport, a laptop and a whole raft of other items. On the plus side, I do have a free cinema ticket for tomorrow. ;)
