Remember that it is probably all connected, if they put you in for blood tests make sure they add thyroid to the list for the hormonal/stress/feeling down stuff. Many drs dont bother and my sis was missed for about 10 years.

Sounds like these hols are more how you would like them to be - keep it up, see I get to nag

Please nag about blood tests, I HATE needles! If I can have one stuck in my gum WHY can't manage one stuck in my arm!!!!!!!!!!

Remember not to watch. I used to really enjoy giving injections as a nurse (Not cos I am a biatch, but because the whole process was interesting) but even I couldn't look at them giving me one!

I second not looking. Am apparently only person practice nurse has met who will volunteer to have injections in bum instead of arm 'cos then I can't see it to worry about!

I had some blood tests done this week...got myself a bit flustered and worked up...ended up all hot, feeling sick and dizzy and in less than 2 minutes it was over with (and it would have been shorter if she hadn't had to fill 3 tubes!). Walked out of the surgery wondering why the hell I get myself in a state every time!?!

Glad you've made the appointment, now tell them everything!

Random thoughts

you know how you go about with a vision of yourself - I don't mean a perfect unrealistic picture, I just mean going about your day to do life you think you know what you look like.

Currently I am sat in the Conservatory. it is painfully bright out here in the lovely sunshine and as I mark my folders and panic about missing work and the like I can see myself reflected in the Tv and my Laptop screen. It isn't remotely how I thought. I have these big fat arms that barely fit in my t shirt and a neck that creases on to my chest, my face is all puffy and oh yes the roll of fat round my middle which rivals well.....I am more like a Tree trunk then anything remotely hour glass. thank GOd I can't see my bum anywhere!

has been a sobering morning...
