aw shucks about the redundancy. it would have been a good way of getting some money out of a very horrible situation!

Buffy each holiday you say you must sort yourself out. And I know you mean well when you say it. You did well the last time biting the bullet and getting the fence done in the garden etc. But maybe THIS holiday you just need to chill a bit.

Through no fault of your own you are lurching from one stressful event to another. Give your body and your mind a break. Tell your mum you are exhausted and won't be doing much other than sleeping the first week of the holidays or something....

What I am trying to say is have a staycation!

    I third that idea!

But I also think you need to go to the Dr's and have a chat regarding your stress levels, your headaches and your monthly issues. You're expecting your body to cope with so many things that it's no wonder you feel so "blugh" all the time. You wouldn't start teaching a subject half way through a year and expect the kids to know the bits they've missed so don't expect your Dr will know what you don't tell him. Make a list of all your health niggles/symptoms and go chat....once your body and mind are running smoothly, everything else will be easier.

    Please.

    Fourthed.

It's so difficult to keep perspective when you're in it - but a break does wonders for your mental health and you'll be more effective in the long run.

Zeal of a convert following minor meltdown and receiving lecture from counsellor very similar to wise Chev words :o
