Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

  • Morning.

    Tequila.
    Vodka.

    Ouch.

I am sure the temporary ruin of me will be over soon. Unfortunately the Andrew Marr show is on which I always watch, although really I want to go back to sleep. Peter mandelson is on mind you and he always makes me want to throw things at the tv......

disney was brilliant, felt like I was in another world and the rides were so much fun.

I am off to a lay down.....see you later

    Sounds lovely, I think I need a holiday :)
  • The ruin of me lasted a bit longer then I thought, ie I have only just woken up!!! Not great, had rather a lot to do.
I have to do the following before I go to bed tonight!

    1. Guinea pigs - poor neglected babies. I have been away for a week and obviously Mum fed them but they haven't been out for a week!
    2. Tidy up my work(!)
    3. Attempt to mark so books..................

    ugh.

  • Right I did the guinea pigs - they are so cute. I was considering giving them away cos I don't spend a lot of time with them. The thing is in a recession lots of animal rescue places are full up with pets as people can't afford them.. I can easily afford them and in reality although I feel bad they don't have a dreadful life - I think its hard cos when I had rats and later Hamsters they had great lives. I just don't feel the girls do.....

Anyhow the marking is going to be done in the morning. I am feeling sad about going back to work. Big meeting tomorrow which is going to be about the cuts.

    depressing and so depressed.

  • Been thinking about weight loss.

ie why I don't experience it!

Its mainly cos I eat on the go a lot and don't plan my meals or do my shopping. I don't like much food to be honest, chocolate is always my go to when hungry and I really need to be more organised (story of my !!!!ing life!!) to help me avoid this.

I bought this book two years ago

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/You-Can-Thin-Programme-Dieting/dp/1847441394/ref=sr_1_6?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1298849016&sr=1-6

and never really followed it but since looking on Amazon again for a miracle I thought why waste the money when you have a book here ou never properly used? Not very MSE?

    eek its late.

    see you all tomorrow

I think this is just part of the underlying problem though isn't buffy. you live at home, so you can't always eat what you want (ie healthy stuff) because that would cause an arguement with your mum. You can't organise the space you need, the way you want, because it would cause an arguement with your mum. Etc Etc Etc. This is why you are losing the debt. You are so close now. Then you can start saving for a deposit either for a rental property or to buy. You are focusing on one task, losing the debt. Once that has gone, then you can focus on your health and your weight. The money saving can be as easy as putting 60% of your debt repayments into a regular saver account. Then you will still have some mad money and be able to save the rest without noticing it!

good luck with the book marking
