not too harsh at Chev, probably accurate although I am a !!!!! where my sister is concerned.
I have done a balance transfer.
Current totals are
£850 on Post Office card (plus £21 fee)
£3218 on the loan.
Once France is out of the way (not that I want it to be) I will see what I have left money wise. I am kinda flush, nicked a couple of ideas from other diaries
Lula - putting away little bits to pay for things I have accounts and names and stuff (stuff=actual money)
ShoeGal - paying my £365 money in early - 58 pounds so far (never managed a pound a day)
Hynpo- Envenlopes - I use pencil cases but they have my spends and driving lesson spends.
If it comes to it all this money will go to the debts, if it can make a difference from one month to the next andbring my df date near. The quicker the better, I would like to start moving on from this slightly skint economically interesting period of my life.
Virtual sealed pot = £75
Emeregency savings = £175
Opinions
I guess now I have 0% deal I should pay the minimum on that and over pay the loan massively right?
i.e feb 1000, Mar 1000, April 1000, (well they may all be 800 pounds but you get the idea)
It bugs having a CC balance again but it is what it is. I booked France which I wouldn't want to miss, driving lessons are needed and ok so going out to dinner wasn't but that restaurant has shut now so won't be spending that much again (a couple of 60 quid dinners...) And hell I have done the no social life or holidays thing for YEARS.

Although I feel more organised, I am not happy with the totals.
I am going to overpay the loan by a 100 pounds to keep my debts below 4000.
OCD me? nah never
total will be 3989.
with 871 being 0%

I'd go and get the loan cleared too, purely because it is such a big payment each month and that will be a relief when its gone.
If pay day falls just before the end of May Bank Hols you will be able to have it all done and dusted and celebrate!
But if you don't then one more month won't matter, you will still be free! One small step for ME, one giant leap for my family!

Hi Buffy, just catching up again.
Looks like you have the finances will in hand and so near being debtfree. Well done.
Just don't go rushing into the next project once you are - give yourself some time to breathe and get your bearings. Hello,
I don't think I have been here since Monday, this week has been a bit of a blur. My headache did come, my premptive day off didn't work, I worked monday night, did a 12 hour day Tuesday, Wednesday headache took hold, Thursday was dreadful, I was sick and went to bed, went out last night, which was ok, headache went off a bit but frankly today it was hard to concerntrate in my driving lesson and out shopping afterwards............
in which I spent a fair amount of money £11 in superdrug(2four a £5 cleanser, body firming lotion (cos that 'll work!) handcream), £9 in Holland and Barrett- someone recommended magnusium as a help for the headaches and some vit pills. Plus went in WHSmith and cannot remember what I spent! glue, super glue, hole punch and a bottle of water....£8 I think...
and then £19 in Sainsburys - salad, yoghurt, Go ahead bars, crisps (baked), rich tea biscuits, guinea pig food, bacon crispies, and other stuff I can't remember.
Another piece of news, I decided to ask for a new laptop for my birthday, I will pay some money towards it but the family will pay the rest thankfully. I am really grateful for this since this one is on its last legs bless it and I need one for work.
I am so tired today. Meant to be going shopping tomorrow for holiday clothes. too fat! and too much marking!

I would overpay the loan, cos you can't respend on that. So that means that your debt will defintiely go down...
Sorry you have been feeling bluegh again. Are you sure you haven't got high blood pressure? Did you go for your own appt to the GP before xmas?
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

Loan has been overpaid by 100 (that's 700 pounds this month) so that makes it £3118.27 which is cool.
doctors.................no.......I did manage the Dentist tho - brownie points?
Today whilst I was out shopping I was in the queue behind a woman with two kids one of whom was being very demanding about comic sticker book thing he wanted, she was utterly brilliant calm, explained he couldn't have it (despite him really creating and the queue building) was really firm, made a deal for him to get it eventually and even apologised to me for keeping me waiting not that I minded, I thought she was brilliant. He was about 14 I'd guess, very tall and bigger then his Mum, he must have had - I don't know how to put this correctly so apologises if I offend, some kind of condition or brain damage as I would put his mental age at about 4/5?
I just wonder how many parents go through that and have to handle that every day, she was SO good and so patient. I felt like hugging her and I nearly burst in to tears as it was (part headache part how hard are some people's lives and what amazing things love can do)
I just wanted to tell someone (someones) she deserves the good karma. Amazingness in everyday life.
