Yep. It was 24240 when I started. Seems like ages ago now End of 2007. It will all be worth it come March!

Hi Buffy

Good diary - I have started one myself so will follow yours as well. Mine not so interesting but helps keep me going with the saving and not spending thing - harder than it looks isn't it!!

Why is your job so awful? Could you find something else maybe? Keep the end in sight if not. I am dreading my work until December - it is going to be sooo busy it's not going to be even remotely funny. At mo not sure how I am going to cope but will just have to muddle through I guess. I too need the dosh!

Buffy sounds like you are on a sensible mission yay we missed you too, im actually making some headroom with my challenge i will be in the 11k of my 20 k challeneg by the end of the month heres hoping i make my 20k, i think everyones done considerably well on teh boards so lets keep up the good work.. im sure work will be ok buffy deep breath and go in with a smile ready to face the world, remember your shaping peoples lives and your doing a good job xx

Just a quick drop in inbetween jobs. Got to get to tutoring.

Am vaguely furious about my main job, but actually if I am honest I am too tired to be that annoyed, today will definitely spur me on to look for another job.

I may as well be a cover supervisor.

my lessons and my ideas were the one thing I liked about the paperwork side of the job and now that has gone. I am gutted if I stop and think about it.

Best go earn some money.

well who will know what you teach do they intend to sit in on your lessons, i feel you should argue this terms work that has been planned should be carried out and next terms will be identical .. sounds abit weird to me... where has it all come aabout ... enjoy tutoring xx

It is impossible to teach identical lessons!!!!!!!

Where is the creativity if they remove the planning element?
If the work is inappropiate for less able children they will lose motivation and rebel !!!

Yep Boss comes in everyday, Head can turn up at any time.

It came about thanks to ofsted and the last labour govt. in fact governments for the last 15 years.
