Unfortunately most people wont make the effort to email Trading Standards, i contacted them and they hadnt heard of anyone else with a problem concerning Express-EPC, mind you that was 4 weeks ago so maybe somebody else has by now. It only takes a few minutes and may help a lot of people from losing money to Mr Whatcott and Express-EPC.0

12 CCJ's against his name and trading standards havent heard of him?
edit, they havnt heard of express epc, but you ask them if they have heard of Whatcott, the guy has owned lots of companies and they seem to go bust very very quickly.0 -
all the companies he owns/has owned.
i can say with confidence that express epc is turning over around £60,000 per month!
with all the other companies he owns or has owned it does not make sense that he is not VAT registered.
it could be that he owes thousands of pounds in tax0 -
i reported them to trading standards as well and i still need to report to the inland revenue.
we are all paying tax and he is getting away with it.
it makes me furious.0 -
Ref Tonytee...it astounds me that somebody can have so many county court judgements against them. At what point are the police called in to take Mr Whatcott and his Express-EPC cronies to be called to account?
Its not like they cant find him, he will either be in the office above Putterills in Baldock or in Hitchin at the Savi.co.uk office.0 -
this chris whatcott is on facebook and he operates from putterill of baldock. 19 whitehorse street, baldock , herts, sg7 6qb. i found this on a dea forum.
the police should get him. why are they not? ?0 -
Have just received a recorded delivery back from 27 Gloucester Rd with NOT KNOWN AT THIS ADDRESS on it. Read into that what you wish. It does make it difficult for people to get legal recompense. I am in contact with 3 of their clients who i completed EPC's for and cancelled due to non payment by Express-EPC. They are still trying to get their money back from Express-EPC.0

This is exactly what I was going to suggest to every DEA who has produced an EPC for them - if they have not paid you then cancel the EPC and let the customer know that it has been cancelled.
Each and every acceditation body has agreed to this. This will sort Express EPC out and ensure they start paying their DEA's.0 -
Stroma were excellent and gave me full backing to cancel the certificates. The customers were very understanding and 2 of them have already paid me directly to reissue the certificates. They too are in the process of trying to pin Express-EPC down to get their money back.0

Eric12345...when you get round to contacting The Inland Revenue..Ask them to look into Hipserv, HIP-Save, EXpress-EPC, Savi.co.uk, Chris Whatcott and Putterills. They all seem to be connected and all of them appear to have history!0
