So today is my day off so budgetting and getting organised is planned.
However I have to go with my Mum to the hospital today so taking my diary with me to do there while I'm waiting.
Two small Christmas presents to get and then I am finished.
Then food shop for the big day. But realised years ago that it is only a glorified roast so don't go mad. Just a noraml weekly shop with a few little luxuries.
Have a good day all. Will try to up date more regularly now I will be organised:)Pay as much as you can in 2011- £3688.54/£6000Pay as much as you can in 2012 - £3190.96/£6000LBM - August 2010 - £19202.30Current - August 2012 - £11803.68Paid so far - £7398.620 -
Not very MSE today
Snow has fallen quite a lot so not taking the car out. Walked to work, had to take DD with me as the finally annouced school closed at 8.30am when I was outside the school (how annoying).
Had to go and get some supplies as running low on food and can't get to a supermarket.
Also got a taxi home as DD was too exhausted to walk home.
I will have to try and make up the deficit from grocery money when I can eventually get to do the shopping:)Pay as much as you can in 2011- £3688.54/£6000Pay as much as you can in 2012 - £3190.96/£6000LBM - August 2010 - £19202.30Current - August 2012 - £11803.68Paid so far - £7398.620 -

Not been on here for a few days so have just been catching up with a few diarys.
I have decided to take a leaf out of Flying Fresian's book and list what money I have and how I spend it.
The idea is that whatever I have left each week goes back into the bank and is sent to pay off a debt.
As I haven't been making real inroads into the debt recently:(
So here goes-
Money
Groceries -£100 (going to try and make this last 2 weeks)
Petrol- £30
Spends - £30
This very basic as I haven't really worked out what I am going to need each month/week yet.
Will tweek over the coming weeks.
I have no Christmas presents to buy as I have got them all but need to wrap them so that is this weeks challenge.
Off to see Father Christmas today so have a fun Sunday:)Pay as much as you can in 2011- £3688.54/£6000Pay as much as you can in 2012 - £3190.96/£6000LBM - August 2010 - £19202.30Current - August 2012 - £11803.68Paid so far - £7398.620 -

and so many times I have said I am back and then disappear again.
I have just bought my last christmas present so only wrapping to do.:j
I am more than a little annoyed with myself as I shop at Mr M's.
They are currently running a scheme where you spend £40 five weeks out of six and you get a voucher for £30 off christmas week shop and £5 off new year's week shop.
I have missed weeks 3 and 4. I knew about week 3 bt thought I had done a shop in week 4......I did but it was only for £25!!!!
So I have missed out on the vouchers:(
In other news.....
I rounded down my bank account and sent £3.93 to nasty CC.
I am going to have a payment/spends account, a grocery account and an entertainment/day out account from now on and see how I manage.
Today I spent.....
£35.99 on a Christmas present for my son
£106.95 on groceries/toiletries etc (hoping to make it last 2 weeks with just a top up of bread and veg)
£30.00 petrol
£1 to the collection for charity after my DD's school concert.
Off to paint my kitchen now.....woo hoo!!!!!Pay as much as you can in 2011- £3688.54/£6000Pay as much as you can in 2012 - £3190.96/£6000LBM - August 2010 - £19202.30Current - August 2012 - £11803.68Paid so far - £7398.620 -
Just joined jwil's challenge which makes me a little bit excited
I'm still quietly debt-busting but not had much time to come on here and up date. With a certain day looming!!!!
Aims for NewYear:
Find out my credit rating
See if I can get a 0% interest card to do a transfer
Aim to knock £6000 off my debt
:eek::eek::eek:
Well it's a challenge:)Pay as much as you can in 2011- £3688.54/£6000Pay as much as you can in 2012 - £3190.96/£6000LBM - August 2010 - £19202.30Current - August 2012 - £11803.68Paid so far - £7398.620 -

think I should continue where I started.
I have neglected my diary again......but have been reading all the goings on.
I feel in a slightly better place now......I have sadness issues with Christmas but it was lovely and over too quickly as always.
I recieved some really lovely gifts and have no need to buy toiletries for a year, make-up for about 9 months and perfume til at least May so no money spending there.
We have enough food and sweets in the cupboards to last a few weeks so just bread and fresh bits to buy.
On to plan for 2011.....
Joined jwil's challenge and pledge to reduce my debt by £6000.
Going to get a sealed pot sorted and save at least £1 a day.
I got a lovely purse for Christmas that has lots of different sections....great for budgeting....a section for groceries, petrol, spends etc. will be deciding on amounts in the next couple of days.
Going to continue over-paying nasty CC but also want to get rid of my smallest debt by June. It will be hard but going to give it my all.
Fingers crossed......and try to up date diary more regularlyPay as much as you can in 2011- £3688.54/£6000Pay as much as you can in 2012 - £3190.96/£6000LBM - August 2010 - £19202.30Current - August 2012 - £11803.68Paid so far - £7398.620
