Well yesterday was a busy day.
Attended 2 parties - my DD's friends in the afternoon and a 60th in the evening.
Had a very lovely time at both and no cost except gifts at £5 each:)
Shopping came in on budget but will probably need bread in the week so very happy with that.
Also bought 2 savings stamps to start me off:jPay as much as you can in 2011- £3688.54/£6000Pay as much as you can in 2012 - £3190.96/£6000LBM - August 2010 - £19202.30Current - August 2012 - £11803.68Paid so far - £7398.620 -

It's amazing how much better a clean house can make you feel.... or so I hear :rotfl:"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

My poor neglected diary:o

Got some payments to make tomorrow so will up date my sig then.
Not such a long month this one so might get a bit more paid off but I am happy with my progress and it is making me a bit more organised to, so that's a bonus!!!!:D

Have not been posting but been reading the many inspirational diaries.
But today I had to announce that the attacking of the Nasty CC is working - today I went sub £8K. So happy.
Now this weird being happy about having £8K of debt (well more actually, but trying to attack this one firstas highest APR) but I have been looking forward to getting below £8K and getting the interest down.
:j:j:j
Still a long way to go but achieveing this proves the techniques of PAD or PAW (payment a week,as I do) really work.
I am so pleased I found all of you

Well after following some diaries on here I decided to make a couple of phone calls.
Firstly, A health plan I had to get money back on visits to opticians and dentist etc. I had it for a year and worked out I paid more into it than I could have claimed back so I cancelled it saving £15.95 a month.:)
Then rang Sky and asked what they could offer me.I wasn't expecting anything really but I have my TV, broadband and phone with them. They gave me 6 months free line rental saving £66 in all.:T
Very happy.:j
