    Right.....my list for today:

    Complete application form for interview
Complete PPI claims form (leftover from Sat) - needs to be with them by 10 Sept.
    Sort clothes into charity shop/keep

Doesn't look like a big list, but it's already lunchtime and those first two will probably take most of the afternoon.

I have a couple of 'designer' dresses that I'd like to sell. Where's the best place to try? I've never sold on eBay (and have forgotten my log-in details anyway). Small ads?

DH just text me to say (and I quote) *lookin fwd 2 seein u tonight, didnt feel human last night and was a bit weary I guess'

Is that an apology do you think? And I hate lazy text speak

I think it's a recognition that he probably ballsed up last night...you might have to let the grammar (is that how you spell it? :rotfl:) go. Where was the kiss though?

..or maybe a dress agency Suzy Su. Don't know how much commission they charge.

I am trying to work out the postage for selling a pair of shoes on Ebay. If you try to log on they will send you your password or tell you that you already exist on their system.

Thanks Butti....yeah, I think there's somewhere near me that buys posh frocks. Will take them in and see what they say.

I did try to log in to eBay on Friday (and I do exist lol!) but I've forgotten all my details. Probably just as well as I was trying to buy a gorgeous pair of Fly shoes that I don't really need. I should put the money towards to my debt. My bad.

The text speak would be grounds for divorce, for me. :o

But yes, I think it might be a roundabout way of apologising, or at least acknowledging that he didn't behave in a very pleasant way.

I hate lazy-speak too. My mother (who is well into her 80s and should know better) always uses that sort of speak in emails. I think she thinks that she pays for every letter she types. She is such a stickler for correct use of language and grammar (sound familiar Snaggs ;)) so this really puzzles me.

Well I did it, I ran 11 miles this morning :T
From Airedale Hospital through Cononley, Cross Hills, Farnhill, Silsden and back to the hospital at Steeton!

Followed by a nice relaxing bath, a 20 minute listen to the lovely deep relaxation app on my ipod and now I'm nomming a well earned steak, jacket spud and peas!

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.
  • Well done Linda xx
