Well I had a crap time at Leeds fest, missed most of the bands I wanted to see, and my back suddenly got really painful, if it isn't better by morning I'll have to phone the docs. But, a new day and all that, it's my writing group this afternoon, I've really missed it and can't wait to get some of my stuff read and critiqued.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -
Tesco's delivered this morning at 11am. I had ordered two tins of Quality Street at 2 for £10. They didn't delivery any, and I was so annoyed because I happened to visit the store on Saturday and they had loads of them. So I phoned customer services to ask why they hadn't been delivered (feel an idiot making a fuss about some chocolates but it is the principle) and they phoned my store, who confirmed they had them in stock.
She said the store manager would phone me to explain why they weren't delivered (just laziness I think) but they havne't phoned back and they have had an hour. I am on a mission to get my Quality Street!
Totally agree with you Tenmah. I ordered home delivery with Asda yesterday for between 2-4pm. By 4.30 they hadn't arrived so I phoned to be told that they had problems in the store. But they have all my contact numbers plus my email address, couldn't they have let me know. Ah....sorry. We'll refund your delivery charge. Bloody right you will. They eventually arrived at 5.30pm with no word of an apology.
BTW....the £3.50 delivery charge will take up to 25 days to reach my account. !!!!!!??YOUR = belonging to you (your coat); YOU'RE = you are (I hope you're ok)

25 Days - they have got to be joking, that is terrible.
I do wonder if I would have made such a fuss if it wasn't chocolate

my sister said something similar when we chatted a couple of weeks back. It was way into the 30s that day and was going to be 40 the next day :eek:
