Lou, sorry to hear that MIL isn't improving...did you ever manage to get a diagnosis or any help from her GP?
I don't know if your OH has got any siblings, but have they thought of getting a Power of Attorney set up (not sure if it is still called that) otherwise, if she does become classed as mentally incompetent then you may struggle to manage her finances and make decisions about her care. Hugs to you and OH :kisses3:

Good morning!
Lou, that sounds so hard. It's very difficult watching someone deteriorate like that.
Bunny/Sammy, grrr to other halves in general. I am so glad to not have to deal with that kind of crap. Long distance dating is awesome.
Hello to everyone else and happy birthday to Kayleigh!! Good luck with your skydive today, you crazy lady!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
Hello lovely peeps. What a beautiful day. Just put the washing out and it's lovely and warm but apparently only 7C tonight!! Could do with someone to snuggle up to tonight

Cold has gone a bit into my ears, I was on the phone earlier and thought I was a bit 'eh? what?' ........I'll blame it on a rubbish signal dropping out every now and again rather than me feeling a bit deaf
:rotfl:
Lou - I would look at the Power of Attorney. When my nanna became unwell, (Alzheimers) it was very fortunate that just before it happened she had signed over access to bank accounts etc to my Dad as it was much easier to pay for her nursing home fees etc and see what income she had. When I was with my ex, his Dad asked me and my ex to be those with their names on the dotted line. It caused a bit of upset at the time because it is an emotional subject and my ex felt quite sad to think about these things but thinking about it now, it's sensible. Unless he's asked someone else to do it, I guess I'm still on the documentation.
