I don't have a will either. As I'm not married and have no children, I don't have any issues about who it would go to and I guess it would go to my Mum/Dad as next of kin. As OH has made it vehemently clear he would only have something joint with me so he can leave his half to his daughter (who he never sees) rather than me and so I'd be basically a financial leg up, you can guess who wouldn't be on any will I'd draw up. He doesn't seem to think it would be a problem his daughter suddenly having 50% ownership of a house I'd be living in......my thoughts of 'but what if she decided she wanted to move in/sell/do something to it' fell on deaf ears......

Still in bed with two cups of caffeine down and another one about to be brewed. A bowl of porridge to accompany that and that's me full for a couple of hours.

Kids are still asleep - I love the holidays!!

Not even sure if I'll bother getting dressed today as there's nothing I need to go out for. I have lots of paperwork to do which I can easily do while tucked up in bed :) Will put my socks on in a minute tho....my feet are freezing!

My Dad has set us all up with Power of Attorney for him. He did it a couple of years ago, and is absolutely fine but knew the problems it could cause if he became unable to cope with his finances etc and had nothing in place. Very sensible.

    Happy Birthday Kayleigh.

I don't have a will either. I am not married and although I do have a grown up daughter, I don't have anything to pass on to her. I don't own a house and don't have any other assets (apart from my car as from tomorrow ;)) so have never bothered.

I suppose I should really, just to save my daughter any hassle.

    Helloooo all

    Happy birthday Kayleigh

Lou - Sorry to hear about your MIL, must be so hard for you all to have to deal with....hope your lunch goes well.

Twas chilly here last night as it was soooo windy...it's gorgeously sunny here today but when you're in the wind it's cold....We went and sat on the cliffs watching the clouds race over the hills and out to sea, was nice to blow the cobwebs away.

DD1 has gone out with her new boyfriend (amazing how a boy on the scene gets her up and out of bed so early) DD2 is still lounging in bed watching telly and eating toast....ohhhh to be a teenager again.

Aw Bun, I would take that as an apology. He has obviously realised that he has upset you.

Tesco's delivered this morning at 11am. I had ordered two tins of Quality Street at 2 for £10. They didn't delivery any, and I was so annoyed because I happened to visit the store on Saturday and they had loads of them. So I phoned customer services to ask why they hadn't been delivered (feel an idiot making a fuss about some chocolates but it is the principle) and they phoned my store, who confirmed they had them in stock.

She said the store manager would phone me to explain why they weren't delivered (just laziness I think) but they havne't phoned back and they have had an hour. I am on a mission to get my Quality Street!

Afternoon all. Very eventful day yesterday and looking forward to relaxing with OH this afternoon, it's actually sunny so we might go to the beach again,
