Chinese became pizza because the Chinese was closed. Still very nice, even though not ver MSE or WW! Hopefully, roast on Sunday!0 -

I'm really fed up and grumpy today.
It feels like I have to do everything, shopping, cleaning, laundry, paperwork, paying bills, checking bank accounts, gardening. My father in law is still staying and while it is good to know he is ok it does make extra work. Because I've been busy doing other things I haven't been checking the budget and we've spent too much this month and have only got £24 (all bills etc are accounted for, it's food and incidentals that we will be short for) left until salaries come in again at the end of the month, not great when it is the 2nd of the month! In my head I knew we had enough for the furniture and holiday deposit but didn't take into account other incidental spending. And I'm tired from work, no matter how long I spend working, I still can't keep up with my work load! Hopefully I'll get out of the right side of the bed tomorrow.
On a slightly brighter note, we've now got £2,140.76 saved to pay the Santander Card, and have planned to make another payment of £700 this month (already accounted for), so we will have all the money we need for Santander and a bit left over, which should go towards the next loan but will be needed to survive this month! Perhaps updating my signature and looking at progress since August will cheer me up. And if that doesn't work I can dream about Munich and skiing.
Feeling a bit calmer already, keeping a diary is very theraputic.0 -
Hi rum ditto on the feelings, what about holding back on the 700 payment and maybe getting through the month ? hope your ok xxxI AM A MONEY MAGNET, THEY ARE MAKING MORE MONEY FOR ME AS WE SPEAK:pMIKES MOB, DFW NERD 1071, DFW LHS 132!MIRACLES HAPPEN I'VE SEEN IT WITH MY OWN EYES. Thanks happy, feeling really sorry for myself tonight! The £700 goes out by standing order to the savings account, we used to have a loan for that amount and when the loan finished we changed it to a standing order. We will have £300 extra in the savings account for the Santander card, so we can use that, I was jut being pessimistic (it's how I feel tonight!). Husband has just transferred some money into out account for his spending so it looks a bit more positive now. Moral, don't get behind with the spreadsheets, even for a few days!
Hope you're not too down happy? Share if you want, I just had a big whinge! x0 -

I don't know Woo. In many ways my husband is wonderful in that he will get food shopping and cook and ply me with drinks, but when it comes to big shops, I plan what we are going to eat and order the shopping. I should probably just snap out of it and count my blessings!
I think I am just really tired from work, and feeling the strain of father in law visiting, it's his 3rd week now and we have to do lots for him and although he's very welcome and we worry less when he is with us, I haven't had any time to myself and because my husband does shifts, we don't get much quality time. If he is on an early shift he gets up at 4am, I don't get up then but get disturbed. If he is on a late shift, he is still asleep when I leave at 7:30am and I'm usually in bed when he gets home. He works away sometimes too, he was away all weekend and is away again next week. When I get home around 6:30pm father in law is sitting waiting for something to eat! I know my friend has it worse because her husband goes away with the RAF but now and again you need a moan.
I knew snow had fallen this weekend, I'll check out the webcams!
Thanks x0 -

You sound just like me happy, perhaps we were separated at birth! I've been a right misery today
Perhaps it's time for a nightcap?0
