Hawaii before 50 sounds really naff to me as when I visited it was very disappointing, full of Japanese and very garish.Would much rather travel to S.E. Asia

Hope you get sorted Happy, I blocked us out of A & L on Friday, having said that, I'm not convinced it wasn't their fault, I entered the 8 digit pin on the telephone about 100 times.

It only takes them 10 days to reset the security, their speed continues to amaze me.
  • I have phoned work to say I won't be back tomorrow, still coughing and can barely talk. I have very little time off for sickness and usually struggle in when I shouldn't, my boss (I didn't speak to her)wanted to know if I had been to the Doctors. I thought you could self certify for 5 days? I've got a good mind to go and get signed off for two weeks! I work so hard when I am there that I find it insulting that she thinks I might not be genuine. Unless of course, she is just very concerened for my health!

You can self cert for 7 days, after that a doctors note is required (well that's how it works at our company anyway).

I would be insulted as well, get and book that doctors appointment....

This includes weekends, so think that's why most people say 5 as it works as 5 business days, or 7 in total.

Sorry you're feeling crappy still :(
