Hi all. Right last day off due to me forgetting completely that I am in work tomorrow .

So far done not much. Yesterday went out and got wallpaper, paste and brushes for DD1's old room, it need decorating asap.

Also got boxes to box up the huge amount of detritus that remains.

Need to pick a parcel up, may do that now.

Morning flyers!

DS taken to dentist (and roadworks in town - the joy *roll eyes*) for rescheduled appointment because I forgot on Tuesday.:o
2 lots of washing on line inc gloves/hats /scarves so they are either ready for winter or to be sent to Christmas Child, for whom my mum knits.
Was unable to find card for collection of mail (underpaid large letter) *roll eyes* and not for me but for sis and hubby - presumed it's a late Silver Wedding card sent here so they wouldn't suspect something was up - fat chance as it was 2 weeks late anyway...
so took child benefit letter (right address wrong name) showed it postie along with my best guess at date on card (27 Aug) was found in that box (go me for getting date right) THEN he asked for ID - I had already showed him CB letter and gone into convoluted explanation of why the name was wrong but the address right and even said I guessed it to be a large letter in the form of a card and why...anyway I got it. And they got £1.10:eek:
Then dashed to Mr M's cos it's little sis's wedding anniversary tomorrow and I had COMPLETELY forgotten:o
Card bought, written and posted - letter size not Large Letter;)

Just finishing a :coffee: then shall have a HHC which will involve lots of dot-to-dotting (pat. pending) albeit minor to fetch rooms back up to previously pristine state...

What's the betting I fiind the card from Royal Mail? :rotfl:

Hi just want to do a quick refresh on what i still need to do aiming for level 1 so here goes


Tuesday~ Kitchen and Dining area

Clear and wipe worksurfaces
Wipe fronts of appliances and units.. kickboards too!

Clean baths, toilets and sinks

Thursday ~ Living Room, Hall and Stairs

Vacuum floors and sofas

Not to much left maybe i will get started on level 2, got load of washing in now so i can get it out on line.

I am starving and Freja has been eating pretty much constantly since about 10 this morning... how am I meant to eat anything when she is permanently attached?

I do have a cuppa though thanks to OH..

OH is on the verge of meltdown.. apparently Freja doesn't want or need him.. he doesn't realise in a few weeks when she is starting to be interactive she will need entertaining whereas right now she just wants to eat when awake.

Wipe over oven and hob and fridge.

Wednesday ~ Bathroom and Study/Pc Area

Clean floors in these rooms
Clean baths, toilets and sinks

Clear any clutter from desk
Dust PC and desk and wipe off those cup rings!! (baby wipes are fantastic for this!!)
Wipe keyboard and mouse (these usually have more germs on than your toilet so important).. And your house phone.. they must be just as vile..
Level Three
Wipe down tiles in bathroom
Extras

• Spend 15 minutes shining mirrors and picture frames

Friday ~ Master Bedroom & Landing
Level 1
Declutter the floor
Remove and wash bed linen. replace before bedtime!!!
Level 2
Dust surfaces & make sure no cobwebs..
Vacuum and turn mattress before replacing fresh linen
15 minutes floordrobe clearance
Level 3
Vacuum floors in bedroom and on landing
Sort one area of clothes or linen storage making sure only what should be in there is, anything that's had it's day or doesn't belong there is removed
Sort through a box or bag of stuff you've not looked at in months..
Extras

1. Binbag dance!
2. Wipe grotty paintwork.. touch up any bits that are looking shabby
3. Wash windows
4. Plan to cook the christmas cakes!!.. and make chutneys, pickles or whatever

well i've done some of it lol, took me ages to do the kitchen lol

How'd you get on with your HHC Mrs Chaos?

I've done 55 minutes with a 5 minute break in the middle when DD2 got scratched on the lip by the kitten. Well if she will go at her with the brush then that's what'll happen!

Anyway here's what I did:

Cleared & wiped living room & hall window ledges
Cleaned windows, mirrors, picture frames etc in lounge and hall
Tidied junk in hall
DD1 vacuumed up the stairs
Cleaned out the camping fridge
Cleaned out the big plastic box
Tidied and dusted the bookcase
Dusted the lounge

Not bad going. More to do though so will carry on for another HHC 12.30 til 1pm then get lunch. If anyone else wants to jump in feel free.

remember and write down all my pots of money/savings/accounts etc
