They are currently in the shower as they are staying at Nan's tonight so thy don't have to be up early tomorrow, what with it being Monday and all!

Ehhh? I'm thoroughly confused... I thought tomorrow was Thursday but I maybe delirious

Oh - or do you mean tomorrow is a virtual Monday because they're back to school?

Spent the day coughing my guts up (metaphorically speaking!) and had to have another snooze on the settee underneath the patchwork quilt about 10.30am for an hour or so - BB was great - she settled on my feet and kept them warm!

Chickens free ranged for a long time this afternoon - I was even brave enough to leave them to it for the first time and come back indoors to keep BB company - they didn't get up to any mischief...

But off to find dinner. I think I need building up. There's a steak in the freezer somewhere...

:hello:to all my flylady friends! I have survived the first day back. We have three INSET days, and then only Year 7 in Monday, and an activity day and rewards assemblies on Tuesday, so no teaching before Wednesday. It may take me that long to work out how to use the new planning format they've introduced.:o And they haven't found my laptop either - I handed it back months ago as it wasn't working and I was fed up with carting it about, and now they've lost it. Maybe I'll get a newer one!

DS2 has done a bit of a list today, as he was the only one in. I've done a bit of the main bedroom, and will do a few more bits tomorrow.

Good news for DS1 - the Oxfam shop manager is fed up with being let down by volunteers who don't turn up when they are supposed to, and having to lose her days off to cover, that she is going to discuss with her superior having DS1 as a paid cover assistant. He's very pleased. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it works out for him, even if it is only a day a week, that would be a real boost to his confidence.

invisiblecabbage - what do you teach? Hope you survived today!

Penpen - so sorry to hear your news. Hugs, and virtual ones sent to your friends' family.
