There are some good sales on - i was in M&S this am and they had a lot of bright things/loose/comfy. And i sure you have some lovely shoes that you team up with it. If that doesnt appeal then look at your most favourite possible thing in the wardrobe and build from there - or could you borrow something from your sister?
My sister is smaller than me so that is out.
I have a top in the wardrobe and a top not in the wardrobe.. 1 needs a vest type thing underneath and I need trousers to go with both.. and have none that fit.. M&S was hideous last friday when i got the girls undies.. I'll do a next order I think.. has to be more bearable.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Afternoon all
Sorry to hear your news PenPen never an easy time but good friends count for so much in situations like these.
It's a beautiful day here, we put the caravan away with Dad's help this morning and 2/3rds of team AnW's washed the car (the W bit didn't!) They are currently in the shower as they are staying at Nan's tonight so thy don't have to be up early tomorrow, what with it being Monday and all! So while they are at Nan's I am off outski to my mates for the evening
Last night we were playing some of my old cassette tapes, I found the original to Funky Town for them. I have loads of cassettes that I mixed together from the charts, the hours I wasted away doing those in my teens!!! Miss A and W enjoyed listening to some, bopping away and cringing to others lol Told Miss A that I had a copy of Crazy Frog aka Axel F. We used to go ic skating way back when that was in the charts.
Dad had a call from the garage this morning to say his car has been damaged and needs a new head lamp and bumper :eek: Going to be a week before he gets it backOfficial Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -
Sort this for me..
8:45am.. drop beasts at school
10:30am collect Tiddles from school
11:20am hospital appt with tiddles...
Drop Tiddles back at school after hospital..
2:20pm Freja @ orthopaedics.. this clinic can over run by 2-3 hours and shares xray with A&E so LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG waits
3pm pick up from school
3:45pm Moomin MRI appt. at same hospital as Freja's appt.
How do I a) pick up children when at Freja's appt? b) manage to be at both Freja's and Moomins appts as there is likely to be overlap?
My mother and 1 are on holiday, DS1, DD1 and DS1's gf are at college until 3:30pm.
I have considered DD3 and Tiddles go to kids club and OH collects Moomin and brings her to hospital.. this will cost £9
I take Moomin out of school and she comes with us.. no chance.. she isn't missing an afternoon for someone elses appt.
I am thinking maybe OH picks up Moomin and maybe drops the other 2 with my other sis (Tabithas mum) and the older ones are latchkey kids for the day (they are 16, 14, 13 and 11).. they will all be back about 4. OR my other sis (nursery nurse) arranges that as her day off and babysits.. OH will still need to collect Moomin from school though.
What do we think?LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
If the ortho clinic (Freja's appt?) overruns by so much scrap that and go later, when you're there with Moomin. Ring them and ask them to allow you to have one then the other - you are a BF mum - thay are a SERVICE. Or take Moomin earlier and ask them to see her earlier...(before pick up?)
But older kids can latchkey, no probs IMO as long as they have a fall back plan abnnd know what to do if there's a problem....Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

The valuer has been and gone. Didn't say much except he could see our house was an 'ongoing project'. Just hoping we manage to achieve another remortgage
As a result of my frenzy and the boys cleaning their rooms the house is lovely and tidy with the exception of the hall where we had the old plaster removed ready for replastering on Friday. DS2 is rendering there as I type.He has just asked me if the floor in there is important!! Maybe I won't look for a while.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

I am impressed that he at least asked....
Good luck with the remortgage.
Last day off for the boys so we have been out. Nothing done yet so I need to crack on. Hoover then the kitchen clean I think.

Remortgage vibes, stressful isn't it? If it helps we had ours in Jan with no wallpaper on the walls and carpet ripped up. He didn't take too much notice of superficial stuff.
piggers please tell me I'm going to feel less tired and its not going to take 30 weeks??
Note to self: next academic year, do not leave it until September to clear out schoolbag. You can imagine the state of the unidentifiable piece of fruit:eek:Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
pigpen i would go with the last suggestion - ie OH picking up Moomin and bringing her to you - and as valli said getting them to fit around you! If they are running that behind they either have to fit you in or you go do Moomins and go back - just keep telling them you have another appt. as for the older ones could Tabs Mum be at yours for them coming in or just after - just to be on the safe side? or asking DS or GF or DD1 to get there asap? I am sure you will work it out. as for the outfit - what size of top/vest thing and what colour size of trousers are you after? maybe some of us can help?
toots xxPeace will be mine
could do better - must try harder
