themaccas wrote:Hi anniestar, what a little @*&% how dare he act like that! Can you report him to the police for intimidation and trespass? It was a first visit and you never invited him in. I really feel for you, hope you have had your glass/bottle of wine and choccies. Lots of hugs coming your way.
PS if it was me I would try and hand deliver the cheque to them and get a receipt (unless they are too far away) I wouldn't trust them at all.

Hi anniestar
Just read what happened. Don't take what he said personally. If you can. Report him to the council--while he's collecting, he's working for them and they are responsible for his actions. Also complain to your MP. Anyway if your stuff isn't to his liking he won't want it. We have a crap TV as well, but it is ours. If it works, who cares if it's in fashion or not.You can always get more with a kind word and a 2-by-4 than with just a kind word.0 -
If there was actual physical contact between you and him, then report him to the police for assault."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

Do courts/councils deliberately choose bailiffs who are based a long way away, in order to be able to add yet more costs?:mad:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. The 'Bolton Office' is probably the home address of the lowlife that came to visit you, although the charge levied for the 'visit' will no doubt reflect that they charge mileage from Sussex. Their charges should be fully detailed and open to question.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. Oh hun
I've just read the thread from start to finish and I don't have anything to add that people haven't said. What a nasty evil little man. With a temper and attitude like that he's certainley over-compensating for something else.
I hope he gets his comeuppance!
