    Interesting comments and I now think that the Garmin i3 is probably the one for me as I can put it on the motorbike if necessary. Otherwise doesn't seem much to choose between the budget unita available.
    Can anyone advise how much I should budget for European maps and how easy to install....can they run at the same time as the uk maps?

    Navman Icn 520 £99.91

    BlueMedia bm6300 £99.91 (I dont think it was the tmc model)

    The Navman icn 520 is about £200 elsewhere.
    The Blue media was a whopping £399! according to a review in PCW in june

    Asda, Norwich and Yarmouth have an evesham nav-cam 6200 for £99.

    I googled it and went into evesham but couldnt find any info on it, so i bought it anyway.

    It is a small unit touch screen with speed camera warnings, I have used it for past couple of days and it seems ok to me, dont know if anyone else has any experiance of this unit.

    Full UK maps, really cool 3D view, Great POI selection, speed camera alerts with free updates for 6 months, great GPS fix times for such a value product and it looks great and fits in my pocket - Get yourself one of these NOW for £99 this is just a perfect Xmas present.
