Looks similar to the Garmin i3 to my (untrained!) eye!

I'm afraid I have no idea, and very little info on it. It's the same price instore, maybe worth a trip to have a look see?I spelt my username wrongly on purpose, by the way!0

Remembered reading of problems with cars with heated front windscreens. The heating elements in the glass block the signal so the unit cannot get a lock on the sat. I read this on an SME thread.
The spec for this one says internal antenna.
I'm no expert just thought you might want to check the before buying.Seth.0 -
I think Halfords shops install for free, don't they? May be worth them getting it working before you drive away...I spelt my username wrongly on purpose, by the way!0

Navsure is halfords own brand and they only started selling them in June this year (according to the web pages I did a search on) - maps dont look like a garmin and the web page is a little short on details - like can I load POI's.
I'm sure I saw an ad for an Navman icn330 at the same price in currys - todays paper (where I also saw the halfords ad.)Pinkkipper0 -
Ga! - the icn330 is on the halfords website as a web special at £99.99
but at least it confirms the general downward trend - I can wait a month or 3Pinkkipper0 -

Indeed - a few manufacturers have just released new units, and there's a certain annual event just over 3 months away. Could be interesting!0 -

Looks like a good unit. Has a touch screen which makes it better than the Garmin i3 immediately. The software looks to be Navigon 5 / MioMap v2, which I use on my Mio A701 and think it's great. Better than TomTom in some ways, but not as good in others. On balance I like MioMap better than TomTom though.Marillion - A Better Way of Life.0

I have a garmin street pilot which I bought for 100 last december from staples and the unit is perfect it does postcode search's and points of interest and it is a small unit that has various options and I have never had a problem with it .0
