  • I couldn't see it mentioned elsewhere on the forums but I got the latest book of vouchers for Costco last week and there's a £60 ex-VAT off coupon for the NavMan iCN530 for 1 week only 23/10-29/10. The normal price is 179.99 ex-VAT reduced to £119.99 ex-VAT (£140.99 inc-VAT) with the voucher. Sounds a good deal to me and I think I might buy one if I don't get trampled.

Tesco have just reduced the Navman ICN330 to £99.99 in store yesterday. There were loads in my local store.
  • I have the Pin 570 PDA and I think it wouldnt be suitable for my old man, but i still want to buy a satnav for him for Xmas.
Which is the simplest to use? remember my dad is 74 and has trouble using a mobile phone!
What do you think? touch screens and any other gadgets are not as important as ease of use.
    Regards

I would get the £100 i3 from Carphone Warehouse, very easy to use just a scroll wheel which doubles as a button, you can't go wrong!

Also £10 cashback if you buy through Quidco!
  • Just bought mine from the Peterborough Tescos, 99.97 less my £3 off voucher. Bargain

This always gets a debate going but I would agree that the i3 is great value for money. Full postcode search, easy to use (not touch screen but a simple scroll wheel) and does the job fine. Been using mine for about a year and no complaints. Garmin support is also excellent.
