Ladies, I'm more than happy to share - the receipe for the Baileys and white choc fudge slab is quite easy:

    500g golden granulated sugar
    500ml whipping cream
    50ml Baileys

    150g white chocolateEnjoy!!!

Is there any reason why I couldn't use double cream for this????? I bought the wrong type silly moo.

Had deep snow today.........our little town is now cut off at the main roads........... Still, the garden looks pretty and as good as anyone elses..........lol

All I've done today is make a couple of Weather Wallies -joke pressies, one for my friend and one for a lad we used to look after who lives in scotland now- and a button necklace.......thats for lads girlfriend. They're all wrapped up and ready to post
and OH picked me up some wooden pegs so i can do a 'peg rack/tea towel holder'.......hopefully in time for christmas !

i am now making progress with my hamper contents and should be finished by the weekend i think
wrapping things like soap takes up so much time

i didnt like to say no:(
but i wanted to be sitting pretty early
  • Hi all
Haven't been around since last year!!! Have just read through all the posts to catch up!!! Some super ideas....and everyone seems to have been busy!!!
I have made door hangers for my grandchildren, wellie boot pegs and I have bought stuff to do 'Pots of Gold'!! Not a lot when I read what everyone else has done already!!! Have made all my Christmas cards....not that they are very MSE but making them keeps me out of trouble!!! :rotfl:
debsleypig......I did some basket thingys last year and I got wire fruit bowls (!) from the 99p shop....thought they would also be useful after Christmas!!! They have them again in the 99p shop if you have one near you!!
Saw the weather wallies....love them....think I might have to have ago at a couple!!!!

Only 25 sleeps to Santa....keep crafting!!!!

midnight - industrious I'm not............lol I just try and pick the 'easy' things to do.......mind you last week the button necklace nearly ended up in the bin.............lol Wouldn't know where to start making soap............;)

jackie........the weather wallies are really easy I found and are ideal for a little 'joke pressie'.
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !
