These brooches are a good way to use up any scraps of material. They are fiddly but sooo addictive to make!
The colours are more zingy in real life. Hubs made me the logo which also hasnt come out very clear.

esmer - love the advent tree:T

Pootleflump - brooch is fantastic :T

Well, I've finished off last kitchen organiser today and thats it now.........(keep saying that then find something else to do..........lol)
Snow, snow and more snow on the way.......no milk to be found in town apart from goats milk so we've got that. Somehow I'm not liking winter very much;)
Late night opening in our little town on Friday.......can't see me going to that if the pavements are too slippy:( Oh I'll start to feel ''bah humbug'' if I'm not careful.............lol
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Those kitchen organisers sound FAB! I seen a blog for it from one of the other MSE'rs Looks so hand, stick it to the fridge. That will be one for next year I think.

Does anyone know where I can buy ingredients for bath bombs on the high street? Essential oils, moulds etc? I'm being a bit stingy and don't want to pay £6 post and packaging!
  • essential oils, buy a little of good quality oil rather than a lot of cheaper oil
holland & barratt do them, a 10ml bottle will get you started

    mould, use silicone
i dont know if poundland do them but ikea do

i dont know where you would get citric acid though as i buy in bulk, ditto cornflour, & bicarb

You cant get CITRIC acid on the high street anymore. I found that out whilst searching for my ingredients. :( I do agree, the postage sucks.
