ginger - sorry, don't have all the digi camera and stuff to put piccies on but if you've got a vivid imagination they'll look better in your mind that they are............lol
Can't believe its taken me all day to print off months of the year to stick in next years journal. Had to count the pages in the book and divide by 12 (got that wrong twice ) then printed out the ''January brings the snow'' verse to add relative verse to each month. Still its done now.
Two days now I've been going to transform the last old place mat we've got into a kitchen organiser and still haven't done it...........honest I'm dreaming about these things.............:rotfl:
Printed out ''Pint of socks'' labels and the lad we look after came peering over my shoulder with a ''whatever's that???''.............little does he know one's for him.............lol:rotfl:
Now eldest son has asked if he can have a particular dvd for christmas............I'm thinking that means he doesn't want any of my ''home made'' c**p.......lol Tough.......he's getting it.............lol:rotfl:
Oh eck..........Oh's just brought me in a bowl of home made leek and potato soup and I've just scoffed two choccy marshmallows............
My stomach won't know whats hit it.............lol:rotfl:I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

petabear - sorry about your accident. Hope you feel much better soon.
Know what its like not to be able to do a great deal but there's loads of ideas on here and on Flying Pigs thread so I'm sure you've find something.
I usually get myself sat at the kitchen table with paper and glue and whatever else I need to ''create'' something or even a bit of sewing -long as its not too complicated.
Good luck:)I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Just wanted to tell everyone about my fav online shop for fabrics, it's http://printstopolkadots.co.uk They have all of the designers and a huge sale just now with FQ's at £1-2.
I just bought some highway car fabrics for my sons in red and blue, for their xmas quilts and it's only 75p per FQ until Tuesday.
As i shop with them all the time they send me free offers and money off offers so heres some checkout codes:
20% off all items (excludes the die cutting machine) checkout code NOV02
Sorry if this post causes people to loose an hour or two of their lives and start dreaming about fabric crafts and sewing and loosing some money from their accounts :rotfl::rotfl:

If you do need to buy new jars then IKEA is a good place to go - they sell small, medium, and large glass jars with silicone seal and a metal clasp (if you know what I mean?!) which makes them airtight, they're only 89p, 99p and £1.79p each. Search for 'SLOM' on the website for pic and info. I use them for homemade Christmas biscuits and chutneys.
Also sell bottles with the same seal which is great for putting chilli vodka in!!_____________________________________________party_ Handmade Christmas and Occassions 2011 _party_OS Moneysaving as much as I canGonna live 'The Good Life' - grow my own and 4 hens

Hi all
I'm new to this thread so please be gentle.....
Hubby and I are buying for the kids, but we're doing handmade xmas for friends and (adult) relatives.
I have a fabulous receipe for baileys and white chocolate fudge slab which the ladies will be getting, chilli vodka (for sister-in-law), christmas biscuits, and melting chocolate truffles
I came across this website earlier on in the year and it's got some lovely ideas for christms gifts and decorations http://www.taradennis.com.au/celebrate/christmas.aspx - I'm making each person a personalised cinamon tree decoration to tie to each of the gifts.
