  • Great tute Ginger! ...and lovely makes everyone. I had about 10 pages to catch up on!!

Can anyone help me please. Im making some pickled gifts and need empty jars to put them in. Ive taken labels off some of my empty jars at home but they leave a sticky horrible residue and despite scrubbing for what seems like days, it wont come off. Does anyone know whats best to use or know where I could buy new ones? Ive tried baby oil as well which hasnt work. (Id rather recycle but as they are for gifts I need them to be clean) Thanks all. xx

I've got a label to get off a coffee jar (need to put Brownie mix in it)..........best way I've found is to leave the whole jar in a bowl of water (without the lid) and the label peel off a lot easier.........anything left I rub off with a pot scourer (the rough sort) but not too hard so it scratches.

Not done much today except finish off the notebook on a board that I'd covered, attached the pen with ribbon (bit dodgy but think it'll be ok) -covered the pen with matching paper and pen was a freebie so very mse. I'd covered a cheap diary with the same paper and some peg magnets so added them to it and it made a nice looking gift I thought. Put it in a red voile bag with a box of Cranberry hand cream and body cream.............that'll either be posted off to my friend or the lady who used to be so good to mum before she died.............not sure yet.
Had to re-do a calendar on one of the other kitchen organisers I'd done after spilling coffee on it......thank goodness it was just the calendar............lol:rotfl:
Sorted out a journal I'd covered in fabric last year and managed to find enough letters to stick on so it's now ''Journal 2011''.
Tinnitus playing up today so all the things I was going to do I haven't...........:( Oh well..........I;d say there's always tomorrow but how many tomorrows have we got left ??? No don't tell me......I'll only panic !!!!:rotfl:
