    Cream will also split it. Could you not add more toffee? what were the quantities?

    ok, i wont mix cream in. i didnt really do quantities and its quite sweet, so dont really wanna mix more toffee in it. Might just do a little warning note with the bottles, lol.
    thanks

    Millie’s cookies

    3oz butter;
    3oz granulated sugar;
    3oz muscovado sugar;
    Tsp vanilla extract;
    1 egg;
    6oz self raising flour;
    Pinch salt;
    4oz of choc chips or raisins or dried apricots or whatever you want to add.

    Method: preheat oven to 180 degrees; mix all ingredients together; put spoonfuls onto trays covered with greaseproof paper; cook for 11 minutes.

    Just made these, yummy!

    I didn't have the light muscovada sugar, just used dark to try the recipe out.

    Delish! Thanks.

  • what a rubbish picture
    i have left it quite big in the hope you can see the vanilla pods in the bottom
    but as you can see, it makes a lush dark liquid

  • i added 3 pods to that size bottle

    its a 350ml bottle
    i think i could have got away with 2, my pods are huge and bendy
    and its very potent
    i am using it in drops rather than teaspoon fulls

    i used the nielson massey extract as i found it the best, and its £7.99 for 118ml

    so a cheap bottle of vodka & 3 or 4 pods you have far superior stuff for roughly the same as a small amount of bought stuff

    Thanks midnightraven3.

    I have just trashed my living room, trying to make One, yes just ONE pot of Gold........... hoping the others will be less tasking. I think I got too big a tub, and I had to pack it with foam, then cover in gold tissue. I might have to look for a new tub size, what are you all using? I dont want to not pack it with foam, I would rather the cup/tub/container was mainly chocolates.

    What do you think?
