Where was the pattern for these again? I'm blind as a bat!
this is a bit of a rubbish picture, sorry
but the heart on the far left, was done by hand

i cut with pinking shears to stop the fraying
and stitched (i dont know the name) but just up and down all the way round, so it look like wee lines??

mary will know what its called!!

    you dont need a machine

i am not good with a needle at all
and i can make them by hand as quick as with the machine as you need to keep turning and lifting the foot

the machine ones i make inside out and turn
i use a little rice in the bottom to make a truer point
and then stuff & add lavender or lemon balm

lemon balm grows like wildfire and drys a treat
i love the old fashioned smell of it, its lovely

    **waves to carla**

    sorry there is no cure
you can only mask the symptoms

    you will drool..............over blogs
you will sweat............sniping lovely things on ebay
you will get palpatations.............waiting the postman
you will get tremors...........opening packages of lush things you ordered

    its all downhill from here:rotfl:

Lol I think im getting there already as well!

Yea i'm at the same stage. Need a machine and learn how to use it! Just like I want to make pretty cakes with icing on top but I need to learn how to make and decorate with the icing!

Lol im sure we'll get there soon and then we'll be constantly making things!

I've just been looking at the bath bomb recipe. Where do you buy citric acid from?

Im sure I read somewhere that you could get it from a local chemist
  • :oi didnt use a pattern

i didnt know there was one:o

i have made a lot of these
i just draw onto the back of the fabric freehand with a tailors pencil

and yes you can buy citric acid in a chemists
  • ooh and lemon balm?
    wrong time of year
but either get a little plant next year, even give me a prod and i will send you a cutting
    it grows like wildfire
some people plant it in a tub to stop that
i just let mine grow away
its awesome and you will have a huge patch in one season

midnight raven - think its either 'running stitch' or 'back stitch' -I'm no expert but normally stick to blanket stitch. Love your hearts and how you've done the string...........now why didn't I think of that ? Never mind........still got some more fabric samples I can have a go at..............:j

Other symptoms.............forgetting things like housework, not noticing layers of dust...........bad hair days as can't be bothered to do anything with it.........looking at everything in the house and wondering ''what can I make with that''............hence hoarding every glass jar, gravy tub and any other container in the house............:rotfl:
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !
