Anyone else find it strange that Constantine and the other couple of Tesco employees haven't been seen on here for a while?

I think Constantine was around last night...he's a bit of a night owl.......at times.
  • I expect they work shifts, especially if it's a 24-hour store

    Hi all
may seem like a silly Q but does the R&R policy apply to online shops as well? I have just had a delivery and noticed that a promotion hasn't been applied and when I rang CS they said they would credit the difference and not the whole I amount!!! Is this right, would be grateful for advice before I go storming in mouthing off to them!!
    Thanks

I'm afraid it's right, i had the same problem today too!!!! and confirmed by some members as well...

I just finished reading todays posts this is growing too quick.

Anyway I know what we do isnt illegal buying stuff getting over charged ect.

But should someone say a TV personality receive a letter or other contact from a solicitor acting upon say a large supermarket chain telling them that there is a problem with somthing mentioned on a website that he runs/owns/pays for ect and that they intend to take action unless somthing is done about it then it wouls be stupid for said TV personality to leave the problem on his website untill he has had the opertunity to make the nessesery enquireries to see what could come out of the situation.

    an example
If you received a letter telling you that you were doing somthig wrong and telling you that they would take action to get it sorted out. would you continue to do it or not do it untill you found out if you were doing somthing wrong?
If you continued to do it and it was wrong you could be in more trouble for not acting as soon as you found out you could be in the wrong.

I hope that last bit makes sence.

Well........If the letter was from the Police or some legal body, I would pay attention to it and wait for a later decision, but if it were from a private individual or private company(Tesco), and it looked as though it was intended to frighten me (as they did when banning me from one of their stores, by telling me I was a fraudster and had informed the Police of my actions)....then I would possibly ignore it and continue, until they had gone through the law....and I was notified as such....But I ask the same question....Where are we breaking the law....We are only exploiting a policy....

oh well can't complain too much, got some of somebody else's order and was told to keep it so mustn't be too greedy:D

But as the pricing is on the packaging ie 2 for £5 and not SEL but I have been charged £6 why does this not apply, they can con you in your own home but not in store?

Nothing strange I assure you. The thread is moving so fast these days that its pretty hard to keep up! Especially when working all day with varying shifts. I keep looking in and out for anything I think I can contribute to though ;)

They can do this as Tesco.com is a seperate part of the business and not part of Tesco Stores, it therefore has different t & c 's and does not fall under the overcharge policy.

I guess it's an easy back door policy
