    It almost matches yours then.:)

Renault got involved with Nissan around year 2000, reliability of Nissans has fallen ever since.

    Close, but no prize.
1999 actually, when Renault saved Nissan from bankruptcy.
For someone that spouts on so much about the history of car manufacturers, and their records, you don't appear to actually know much.

All modern cars are reliable, I say this everytime this comes up. Compare this to 10 years ago and it's undisputable. And every single car with possibly the odd exception, will have it's known weak spot/Achillies heel.

(Now why do I just know a certain person is going to come back with an automotive variant of the old animal farm classic quote something along the lines of; "all animals are created equal, but some are more equal than others" :D:D)

    ;);)
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed

I disagree, I think that many cars made ten years ago were actually far more reliable than many made today.

The " ECO " thing has caused serious problems for reliability in many cars, modern diesel cars are certainly less reliable than their 10 year old pre- runners.

You may have a point but in 10 years time not today. IE. Todays 10 year old car will probably be more reliable than todays new car in 10 years time.??

(if that makes any sense whatsover) ;)

  • a girl i work with bought a 04 clio and has nothing but bother with it. It's been to the renault garage and they couldn't find a thing wrong with it but they changed bits regardless to try and fix it but it's still playing up. It shudders at high speeds, rev counter keeps going off and it keeps telling her to stop
