We are going to Elveden Forest in Suffolk. It is only about an hours drive away from us. We are going Monday to Friday.

We've done Sherwood and Penrith, Penrith is by far our favourite. They all have the same format but some of the restaurants and facilities differ, there is a group on Facebook called 'Center Parcs makes me feel warm inside' http://www.facebook.com/prg1977?v=wall&story_fbid=103662589695001&ref=notif&notif_t=feed_comment_reply#!/group.php?gid=2228299503&ref=search
which has loads of advice and people who regularly go to Elveden Forest so it's worth joining and asking questions on there.
The spa sessions are great if your daughter is over 14!, especially the twilight spa sessions - it's a real treat!

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

Ok thanks, doing it now. Just trying a different place each evening!

Also booking some more treatments at the spa. Got massages, manisures and pedicures booked, and now a scalp massage as well. We are going to be well pampered.

The Elemis lime and ginger salt glow treatment is lovely! I'm doing the Elemis cellutox dry floatation treatment this time.

Just be aware that at the end of the treatment the therapist will explain what they've used and encourage you to buy the products at reception, the first time I wasn't expecting that and it kind of spoiled the lovely stress and pressure free experience for me so just to let you know, it might be worth pointing out before they start that you'd rather they didn't do this before you get all relaxed and into the treatment.

Tenmah look on here to see sample menus from the various restaurants.

we love Bella Italia and the lakeside pub which is excellent! Hucks and Cafe Rouge are over rated in my opinion!

The pancake house is well worth a visit!

I've never been to Center Parcs........I think it's the image of it all being about doing lots of cycling, sporty type stuff that's never appealed but maybe that's just the image I have of it and it's nothing like that!

It's only sporty if you want it to be and book the cycles and sporting activities.
It's an incredibly beautiful, tranquil relaxing place and you can book a lovely spa session as Tenmah has to make it really special.

I agreed with BOS....you can make it as hectic or relaxing as you like BB. Once you've paid for your lodge, you need not spend another penny if you choose not to. You can bring all your food and drink with you and just use the free facilities (the huge indoor water pool etc) but I would imagine you would want to do a few other things if you are there for more than a couple of days.
YOUR = belonging to you (your coat); YOU'RE = you are (I hope you're ok)

really....it's not hard to understand :T

Afternoon all I would like to add that 'Man-Flu' does exist purely because women have a higher tolerance to colds and the like due to their immune system being stronger (I read it in New Scientist so it must be true). So Man-Flu is a bonefide condition. :D

We had such a carp holiday earlier in the year, we just wanted one where we could relax and chill out. We won't be getting any bikes because my daughter (who is 23) is disabled and has mobility problems.

Hiya Lenny:hello: nice to see you.

I am about to watch the new Karate Kid, I loved the original one.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.
