Tenmah I've sent you a PM with all my Center Parcs top tips!

Wow, thank you so much Linda. That is a really great guide.

We are actually staying in the hotel, not a lodge and there will just be myself and my adult daughter, so kids activities etc are not required!!

When you pre book the restaurants, do you have to state a time etc. I am worried that we might not be hungry or fancy the particular restaurant that we have booked for!

Tenmah, it's not far from Sudbury and if you want to meet up there one day, it's got a cafe.

Sounds good Scaredy. I am surprised I haven't heard of it before now!

there is a button that says check availability and a drop down menu appears with the available times, they are normally 7-7.15, 7.15 -7.30 etc
We usually go for 7.30 but that's because we don't want to out too late with Jess being 7.
Are you going to a UK one or a European one?

    I'm doooooooone!

Woohoooooo! The only thing I haven't done on the list is do a shop online BUT we nipped to Mr.T Express and got a few bits including a few great 'whoops' things.

    I am shattered.

Sammy, glad DH is over his strop.

I have been to Centre Parcs twice but ruined the last time by being a moody biatch :o

We are going to Elveden Forest in Suffolk. It is only about an hours drive away from us. We are going Monday to Friday.

I've never fancied Centre Parcs but have heard lots of good things about them.

I've cleaned out the cupboard under the stairs and put shelving in there to start a proper "store cupboard"....so far it's got 7 jars of chutney, 6 of apple chilli jelly, 9 demijohns of wine that's "maturing" and 6 kilos of pasta.

I've also cut a huge bit of cardboard and covered it in one of those reflective foil blankets and fitted it behind DD1s radiator (the only one in the house on an outside wall) so I hope it will reflect some heat back into the room in the winter.

Toad in the hole and roasties in the oven and a yummy winey, onion gravy is simmering away.

NSD out the window as I've just been out for wine (all this ruddy wine in the cupboard and 5 demijohns and 2 brewing buckets brewing but none of it's ready to drink!!!)

Well I'd get things booked asap or there won't be any restaurant spaces left, even when it isn't school holidays it's still busy, lots of people book because it's cheaper.

I've never been to Center Parcs........I think it's the image of it all being about doing lots of cycling, sporty type stuff that's never appealed but maybe that's just the image I have of it and it's nothing like that!

Ok thanks, doing it now. Just trying a different place each evening!

Also booking some more treatments at the spa. Got massages, manisures and pedicures booked, and now a scalp massage as well. We are going to be well pampered.
