I really don't know, I think hamish might be right with his "The stig" quote for him.

I found it even odder he even thanked you for saying he lived in a bin.:)

How do you know reiwred is a "him" ?

Because I don't thinks a woman could act so freak like, I could be wrong.

Also the poster is silent, how could it be a woman:D (joke, now I am for it)

On a previous thread it was said that Rewired was Brit1234 as he always thanks when Brit1234 posts, however this was then denied.

At least someone then explained what a 'sock puppet' was so every day is a school day in some way.

The problem with EAs deluding themselves with this nonsense is that it no doubt fools many sellers... and instead of them dropping prices to sensible levels... they carry on in denial... There are scores of houses in my area that have been on the market for years... must be waiting for that Olympic boom in 2012 I guess!?
This is not financial nor legal nor property advice. Consult a paid professional if in doubt.

Must admit I never said, "Mrs Jones, Kevin is an indolent little toe-rag, who uses his two brain cells almost entirely for evil purposes, leaving no spare capacity for any intellectual activity."

Instead, I'd probably come out with some drivel, like, "Mrs Jones, I'm afraid that Kevin has found our work this year very challenging, so he has sometimes lost focus in the classroom, but on the whole, he is making the progress we would expect for a boy of his ability."

What a great example. When a teacher used to say I was 'engaging, lively and proactive' they were really saying I was 'talkative, loud and annoying'.

Which is very similar to the way an Estate Agent's brain works when describing a property I imagine.

I still deny it. You may of noticed I hardly post here any more due to a move and new dodgy internet connection. I bet rewired is still thanking the majority of bear posts.

Sorry if it upsets you if bear posts with logical arguments get thanked more than bulls with their insult posts. However you have to realise people will reward more structured posts more.

    Pretty much, yes. :)

I used to have sheets of stock phrases to use on reports, which in time became a disk of cut n' pastes. I imagine EAs have the same, though maybe in their heads, because they're doing it all the time.

    e.g. bijou = poky
    development potential = dilapidated
    individual design = abominable taste
convenient = on a main road
    popular = chav neighbourhood

    etc. etc.

yes - we've noticed. the correlation between Brit's posts and a house price index having a + or even a - in it is quite close.

the minusc (-) being when Brit posts more
