If you retweet the message, it comes up in the retweets section as 'this message has been retweeted by you and 100+ others' or whatever it says, if you do it manually, it'll come up in search as your own tweet...therefore they shouldnt do it by hashtag search as they did state to press the RT button... *nods* < that was just me trying to think straight

I still don't understand how they see who was first *shrug*
This competition has so far been so badly done!

But i've had this one for over 2 years, 40,000+ tweets, etc! I do have another one for comping but it doesnt really look 'real', if you get what I mean! Might have to start using it a bit more though...
I need to bug Twitter about it really, it seems to be something that's happened to a few people who have changed their usernames and it shouldnt happen!

well i dont think they have a normal account because u can only retweet the msg once. after that its forbidden so maybe they can see all the entries. plus they are using facebook entries aswell so obviously if it said u were 35th on twitter u mite be 102nd wen including the facebook entries.

I retweeted the moment it came up, and apparantly was first to retweet, I am hoping that this means that I am going to be one of the lucky ones but god knows what they are doing so who knows.

I did a retweet comp before where first five win a prize, although they confirmed that I was the first to retweet when they searched however they did it it didn't show up but they could see from the time I on my profile I was indeed first. Twitter is so confusing...

those saying about the # thing, I thought it was only retweets from the original post tweeted were counted so if your picture is there then something has gone wrong?

I didn't know it was on Facebook too, that might be easier Though Facebook has been down for most of this morning so I don't know how many people would have been able to get on there...
