But how would there ever not be enough space to RT the complete message if you are using the RT button? Before the Retweet button was introduced this would have been relevant as you'd somtimes have to shorten someone message if you wanted to Retweet it as you had to stick RT @hmunitedkingdom at the start.

And finally to all those who got the message "retweeted by you and xxx others" I wouldn't rely on that at all, it isn't accuratte, but good luck everyone

I think they're a bit confused and don't really understand how Twitter/RTs work. This all seems like one big mess! But well done to everyone that wins!

they said no need to copy n paste just press the retweet button. if u just press the retweet button there is not gonna be a hashtag.

I also agree that they don't seem to know what there doing atall! This totally reminds me of the JJB voucher comp!

I went back through the postings on my ipod touch, recognised some mse names.... fingers crossed! I also noticed quite a few people entered more than once, does that mean they have disqualified themselves....
The message for tweeting actually comes up a few seconds sooner on the ipod than on the pc, so I'm guessing some people had an advantage for that reason, I could have but went into panic when I saw it and waited a few seconds for it to come up on the pc duh

I would definity start a new twitter account if you aren't showing up in the search, is how pretty much most Twitter competition entries are located! To check you should just tweet a strange word say... Grogglelumps, then search for that word and see if your name comes up, if not then you need a new account!
