Trying for a Baby Part Six

  • Hey ladies. Cd24 here and I've turned into a termite. If its food and its in my path its being shovelled into my mouth. I'm also tearful and grumpy and making life miserable for DH. He's currently hiding in the cupboard (not as bad as it sounds. It's a huge cupboard which we use as a home for the computer.

Had a dream the other night that a girl I see at the train station everyday was pregnant and she was in labour. For some reason i was at the birth but the baby kind of came shooting out of her, like a bunjee jumper and it wasn't a real baby but one of those scary dolls. It really upset me.

Happy rest of weekend to you all. Fingers crossed for the 2wws and hugs and some of my chocolate to those the witch got.

    Stba

Well we had a wonderful weekend, the weather was fabulous too.

I have been very good, no ss'ing.

From my dates I think I am CD19. 8/9 DPOV.

Unless Af shows before hand I will be hoping for a BFP on a POAS on Friday 29th April.

    Lots of SBDTA x x

Good morning, I'm having my first acupuncture consultation today!:j
DH seems to believe in Chinese medicine, so will give it a try (will charge it to his credit card:p).
I'm willing to try anything that can help me conceive:cool:

I made her piac and it was positive! We cried (happy crying) for about 30 mins together!
    That's a lovely story:o

Just found out another friend is pregnant, had her coil out and following month she is pregnant! A lot of things happen in 3's, so who's next? lol.
    You?:j

I'm trying to think, but no, no pg people around me:o Well there were, but they've all given birth now:o

Will perhaps add link to my chart at some stage so I can get your expert opinions.

In support of gg's comments, I agree that although I accept that some do conceive quickly and I am very pleased for them, perhaps it's inappropriate to join thread only to announce bfp. There areother means of announcing pregnancy that are more sensitive to others.

I hope I do not offend anyone and I certainly do not begrudge those bfps just maybe a little consideration?
We don't have a sticky for the newbies, so it'll be hard for them to know what's appropriate and what's not.
    It's a money saving forum after all:o

I've been on this thread for a long time, since Dec 2009, and there were always new people posting to say they've conceived.
    I don't think there's anyway around that:o

They don't mean to boast or anything, they are just happy.
There will always be those posts, so don't get stressed up, PMA:j
    It'll be our turn next:beer:

Hugs to those who need it. CD24 for me and 5dpo. Don't know what's wrong with me this weekend, feeling really emotional. DH only has to open his mouth and I burst into tears.
Sounds good, I was overly emotional when I was pg:cool:
    Poor DH though:o
She's in special care at the moment coz she swallowed a lot of mucus when she came out.
    Yuck:shocked:
Reaaly looking forward to meeting her and having someone to coo over. As soon as I heard I went and bought the cutest outfit :p.
    Lovely:happyhear
Was up at 4.30 yesterday (hence my temp dip) to do a car boot sale. Made £200 which I'm chuffed about, we're renovating our house this year so every little helps. Still got another car load to do next week so hopefully it's just as successful!!
    Well done!:T

I still don't understand, though, why I randomly ov'd so early?!

Maybe due to the relief of getting your exams done and out of the way? I expect that lifted a lot of stress and worry from your shoulders and relaxed you loads! :)

    I agree with this.

There isn't a thread just for pregnancy announcements (maybe there should be?), so this would seem to be the best place to post such news. I know some of our members have been here longer than others, but newbies aren't to know that.

I don't think they are boasting either. They're just really happy and excited (as we all will be when our days come) and want to share their news with others. For some, this forum may be the only place they feel able to do that before the 12 week mark.

Whilst it can feel terribly unfair that one person falls pregnant on month 1, and others are still trying at 18 months plus, they still have just as much right to be happy and share their news as anyone else.

However, I can also see how difficult it must be to see that happening when you've been trying for a while yourself. So.......what do you ladies think about a thread purely for pregnancy announcements? I'm just a little concerned that a) it won't have enough posts to keep it going or b) it'll take posters away from the less than 12 weeks thread. I'm not sure if it's a good idea.

    Feedback please :D

Morning ladies, you have been a busy lot. This thread moves so quick.

Hugs to those that the witch got, but bet its a relief for those on ridiculously long cycles.

Good luck with your acupuncture QQ, not sure I fancy it, but hell if it works then why not.

I kinda have to agree with GG, i did read it and think, oh well done, then the other half of me, thought no fair!!

I've had odd dreams, the past few nights, in fact two night running I've dreamt of my Uncle, who died nearly 15 years ago, he was truly ace, and died at 28 on a motorbike. I miss him a lot still, but to dream of him two nights in a row is a little odd I think?

I'm CD18 and I think I OV'd Friday ish? Had some pains in my right hand side, bit of ewcm, havent managed an awful lot of bding though. Hope I caught it!

    Hugs everyone, xx
