I'm sorry if i have offended. It was not my intent, and i am sorry if my excitment made you think i was boasting.
I know how hard and horrible it can be, I MC at 14 weeks 9 years ago, and havent felt able to try again until now, so i guess we all have our problems.
QQuaver, please ignore my previous request to add me to the list. I've suddenly gone off the idea.
Good luck everyone.Married 13/03/10 #1 DD born 13/01/12!!

Afternoon ladies!
I've been AWOL for a couple of days, been busy!
Hugs to those that the witch got. Hope everyone else is ok.
I had quite an emotional day with a close friend of mine yesterday. We were due to go shopping and I was picking her up; phoned her beforehand and she said she hadn't been feeling very well and had been sick the night before and that morning. I asked if she could be pg and she said no, haven't DTD for 8 weeks, etc. So, I took a sneaky test with me and we chatted when I got there. She was saying her b00bs hurt, pulling pains in her stomach, etc so I said she needed to test. I made her piac and it was positive! We cried (happy crying) for about 30 mins together! We worked out she is 10 weeks and we went into town to buy something for the Dad as a pressie to tell him. It was such an amazing thing to be a part of! She is telling the Dad today as he's been away this weekend. I just keep smiling about itShe's been not trying, not preventing for over a year.
We went out last night and two girls announced they're pg and DH said 'when is it our turn?' when we got home. I just said it will happen when it's meant to happen!
I think I have ov'd but my BBT didn't register from this morning on my thermometerso not sure what temp was this morning. Probably not great as I was drinking last night

I came off the pill in June/July time last year - My cycle was pretty much normal the first month, then I had a long month, followed by a short month .... It varies from person to person but it has taken me 8 months for my cycle to get into a bit of a pattern. I found that I felt ill because of the real hormones kicking back in ....
Do you know if you ovulated and how many days past you are?

I don't totally know if I'm honest
Ok, so now all signs of period coming-have gone. Have stopped feeling grumpy, and have got my backside into action and finally done my housework. I will just wait now I guess, see if anything happen in the next few days (as the other month i was a week late).
I now realise how wonderfull the pill was for me, gave me clear skin, regular cycle, less pmt and pains etc. Hoefully it'll al be worth it though soon!
Just found out another friend is pregnant, had her coil out and following month she is pregnant! A lot of things happen in 3's, so who's next? lol.

Hi there!
Haven't posted in a while but am an avid lurker and read every day! Am still ttc in vain! Currently at 6dpo. Will perhaps add link to my chart at some stage so I can get your expert opinions.
I really do find this thread an invaluable source of info and, even though I don't post much, support.
In support of gg's comments, I agree that although I accept that some do conceive quickly and I am very pleased for them, perhaps it's inappropriate to join thread only to announce bfp. There areother means of announcing pregnancy that are more sensitive to others.
I hope I do not offend anyone and I certainly do not begrudge those bfps just maybe a little consideration?0 -
Hi everyone, brand new on this thread and i have my fingers crossed already!
So a quick introduction from me!
Kira000 (35), and April was my first month TTC, and i think i MAY have nailed it first time. I'm due on on the 19th, and did a 10Miu test just now and got what i think is a very very faint second line! I've been feeling really sick, tired and light headed and starting, unusually, to get some HUGE spots around my mouth and chin, so i suspected i could be, but dont want to get my hopes up till i've done another test and got a proper line!
I came off Microgynon in October to try and gear up my body to try April onwards along with taking folic acid, and have being using Ovulation strips (about 12 a month!) since then to try and nail my cycle to help work out my best days as being 35 and going for number 1, didnt want to waste time. Its been really helpful, as it turns out my luteal phase is shorter than average, so if i went by conventional cycle dates, i would be missing my fertile days entirely. I have been using agnus castus supplements, to improve my luteal phase, and its gone from 8-9 days to 12 days which is great. I've also been using a fab android app called pink pad, to keep track of dates, symptoms etc.
So, thats me, hello everyone thats out there TTC, and heres hoping for some baby dust!

Hi Guys
Hugs to those who need it. CD24 for me and 5dpo. Don't know what's wrong with me this weekend, feeling really emotional. DH only has to open his mouth and I burst into tears.
On a good note DH cousin gave birth to a baby girl on Thursday. She's 21 and has been trying for 2 years, baby was 3 weeks early and weighed 8lb 8oz . She's in special care at the moment coz she swallowed a lot of mucus when she came out. Reaaly looking forward to meeting her and having someone to coo over. As soon as I heard I went and bought the cutest outfit.
Was up at 4.30 yesterday (hence my temp dip) to do a car boot sale. Made £200 which I'm chuffed about, we're renovating our house this year so every little helps. Still got another car load to do next week so hopefully it's just as successful!!
Hope everyone had a nice weekend!!0 -

Thanks for the tipsAlso been feeling a little down, one of my closest friends has just told me she's 7 weeks pregnant and doesn't know if she's gonna keep it or not. She was worried about telling me but she needs to make the right choice for her and obviously I'll support her. It all just seems so unfairYipee!!! (Oh the things we find exciting on this thread:o)I hope that time would come before I end up here permanently at 60:p If I don't get pg, ever, then when should I quit this thread?"I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -
