  • Just dropping in. Me and OH have been too tired & busy to TTC this week. Been very stressful. BUT just a tip for anyone with an android phone - There is a FREE app called Womanlog - It tracks your period, your ovulation days (predicted) and you can add your temperature etc there.

you can also log when you've had some bedroom action lol

    https://market.android.com/details?id=com.womanlog

    hope it helps someone!

Divorcingjack- Howfunny! 'come one boys', will suggest that here too!!

Euronorris- Hope it settles really quickly, hugs to you xx

Fellpony- I'm so sorry, big hugs xx

Tinksy- I didn't know that about royal jelly, i may try that as my hayfever is horrendous and not being able to take anything last time was awful, I got into a right panic thinking I would hurt DD whilst inside cos I was sneezing so much!

I shall try that then... also means I don't need to keep the OPKs down
Can I join in? Can't quite believe I'm typing that but there you go! We are both 30, TTC #1, getting married and building a house all in the same year. I think of it as "stress testing our relationship" :)

You will :) I did. And besides, there's nowt to be daunted by, it's not rocket science (at least for most) and we're really just being lazy with the acronyms ;)

Thanks Mimi. I'm getting a new phone in the next month or so, should be an android, so have bookmarked this :)

Can anyone (QQ?) tell me how/point me in the right direction to read my hormone test (FSH & LH) results? They came through too late for my gynae to discuss them with me, and I got my GP receptionist to give me a copy ;)

  • Hi Guys

Another hectic day for me at work so not caught up properly but hope everyone ok.

I just wanted to share something.....something dawned on me today. Someone on here (sorry i forget who) mentioned knowing from a scan which side the egg was coming from this month so they lay on that side after bd to help the swimmers in the right direction. I only have one ovary as i had one removed as a baby because i had a hernia. Anyway my scar is on my right so my remaining ovary must be on my left so if i lay on my left every time that must put me in with a better chance of conceiving...??:)

yeah I didn't I saw it on baby centre as people were using it for fertility and googled and bingo!! i have to say, took some this morning and I am allergic to cats and have two, my little man is sat next to me and i'm fine. normally my hayfever tablets would be wearing off now. You have to be careful if you are asthmatic which I am so only taking the half dose at the moment to see if they have an affect.

hm pizza was amazing although very filling!

Looking at it again, you probably did ov at CD22;)

Do you think so? I thought my temp would have had to rise up above the average, which it never seemed to do - always hovered around 36.4 - 36.5. Also I didn't have EWCM... (I hope I DID ov though!)

Beginning to wish I never had IUD inserted :( Developed very bad pains in my lower abdomen this afternoon, took some ibuprofen, nothing. They got worse, I was in tears, tried to call docs but they are closed on Tuesday afternoons and I couldn't understand the rest of the message (mainly because I was panicking a bit by then).

Anyway, spoke to my manager and she called the alternative number provided and got me an appt with another doctor, drove me there and he ruled out a bladder infection, but thought the IUD could be causing trouble or slipped or something. So, he sent me off to the gynaecologist at the hospital and she did an internal ultrasound and internal exam. Ultrasound was all clear, but there was more pain towards my left side with the internal exam. However, as they couldn't find any sinister reason for the pain, they are putting it down to the 'settling' of the IUD causing continued cramping and pain. So, now just gotta dose up on paracetemol and ibuprofen until it passes. If it gets worse, or I develop a temp or vomiting, I have to go straight back.

Feeling carp, but at least my uterus and ovaries apparantly look healthy and the speed of service I received from the doc and hospital was brilliant.

You poor thing, that all sounds horrible :o I really hope you feel better soon hun x

OH is using the tactic of saying "come on boys!!" rather enthusiastically after BDing. So far, this has not proved effective.

Hi DJ! Welcome! I did LOL at the above, and had to read out what I was laughing at to my OH! :rotfl:

((HUGS)) to fellpony. I really hope you and your daughter get some good news soon. You are both so brave :heartsmil

I am now taking royal jelly 100mg once a day to start with. It is supposed to help with hayfever (with which i suffer), endocrine problems (with which I suffer) and is supposed to be really good for fertility! its the stuff the queen bee is fed on when she is coming up to making babies!! can take a couple of months to work but it is also safe to take through pregnancy.
    I think I'll give that a try too:cool:

Thanks, I don't have android, but I'm sure it'll be useful to those that have:)
