    to everybody that needs them.

AF has finally caught up with me -i'm not upset as the chances were slim and we arn't supposed to be trying too hard right now.

i think i will have a proper go this month - my thermometer and pad are o the bedside table and i'm going to make a concerted effort to try and chart properly this month!

So only 2 cbfm sticks in the box so I shall definitely be mse and ignore it, we're going freestyle this month!;)

Hugs, We all know how you feel. Good luck for the freestyling, Hopefully if you're relaxed more things will just happen ;)

Hi girlies - well af showed up today and so I am now going to bow out of this thread as it will be just too painful for me to continue to post :(
This was my last chance to get a bfp and despite bding at the right time it hasn't worked - I really felt that this was the month for me - bd on two of the three highs and both peaks.
My OH is determined that we should start using contraception again from now onwards as he doesn't want me to be pregnant or just having had a baby when we get married in August next year.
We have been trying since last October and save for a couple of months have bd at the right times and even using the cbfm from after easter onwards still no success so perhaps it isn't meant to be.
Not sure if we will try again after August next year as I will be 38 and OH will be 47 and so fear it will be too late.
Good luck to you all and I hope you all get your bfp's soon

Awww, Huge hugs. Please don't give up!! Personally I'd say keep trying regardless of the wedding, once you meet your bundle of joy you won't care how far away your wedding is. I know i speak for everyone when I say we'd all miss you xxx

Well we tried our sticky stuff last night just for fun! It does feel just the same as other lube, Inserting it is NOT fun! It felt so wrong lol. Although I don't use tampons but I'd guess it is just the exact same. No idea when i'll be ovulating this month so am just going with the doing it often plan ;) Will be using OPKs but don't know when best to start using them? I've been doing my temps but they are all over the place due to my erratic sleeping and different waking times!

Huge hugs to everyone AF got :(

Good luck to Big sis for the move, Please come back soon!:)

    Hello ladies,

I've occasionally popped in to your board over the past few months.
Hoping you can share some of your wisdom.

Basically, I've been on Cilest pill for nearly 8 years. Finished my last pack at the end of June- and decided not to get any more. Had a normal bleed at the end of the pack as I've always had in the 7 day break. 5 weeks from the start of that bleed I had a period. Since then its been 6/7 weeks. On 5 occasions in the past 3 weeks I've had nausea- not something I usually suffer from. Last week I took a pg test and it was negative.

Starting to worry why my period is so late- thinking totally irrationally- things like "What if I never get a period or ovulate again?" I'm 30 years old (31 in 3 months) and know this is unlikely. But I'm panicing.

    Advice please :o

*hugs* Primmer. I'm sorry it didn't work out the way you hoped.
I hope you both have a wonderful wedding day, and a long and happy future together no matter what happens.
    Aww ((hugs)) hunni..

I know I dont know you very well.. and dont know how long you have been ttc.. but its probably the best thing you can do to go freestyle.. just relax enjoy have fun.. bd every OTHER day eg Mon Wed etc from days 11 - 20 ..though even b`diing every 3rd day is also ok.. eg monday Thursday etc.. as the sperm needs time to build up again..
I also lay with my legs in the air after for about 5 mins..which gave my OH a laugh.. also keep up with your social life too!! xx

We strated out DTD every couple of days but had to stop as I got recurring UTIs, which were in turn causing me to regress with my vaginismus. The CBFM was a godsend in that respect, took so much stress off me worrying about DTD at the right times and not as much I triggered another infection. Been antibiotic-free for a month and a half now thank goodness! So we're back to around once a week, not holding out much hope.

Ah well, thanks for the hugs ladies, my day got a little better, I spent the afternoon documenting processes and making flow charts (geeky joy!), went to the gym, and now settling down for some Britain's Next Top Model action before bed. See you all tomorrow x

((Hugs)) Primmer. My BFF has just had her first after 15 years plus of no contraception and is 39 and planning number 2 next year. It doesn't matter if you are PG for your wedding either....the best day of your life and you could be sharing it with the 2 most important people in your life, your DH and your baby. There isn't the stigma any more like the olden days. My friend was 7 months PG when she got married. You couldn't tell from the photos all taken from the front but she was proud. Currently divorcing from him but hey, nobody's perfect :D

You do what is right for your and DH2B and not family. Your family starts with DH when you marry him and that comes before all others. I know it can't have been easy to write that post and my hard ones have been with tears rolling down my cheeks but this is what we're here for. As for bonking so much and thinking that's it, sometimes quality can be better than quantity so it might be that there were so many wee swimmers they all were having a party and forgot to look in to the light!....you know what men are like when they all get together! :D

DO WHAT IS RIGHT FOR YOU AND YOUR DH2B. NOT WAS SOCIETY SAYS, NOT WHAT YOU "THINK" IS TOO OLD. You deserve a child and who knows, if you "give up" that's when it happens. Believe me, I resided (and cried) myself that August wasn't my month after missing both peak days and only DTD once from 20 days previous and I got lucky. That's all it is, luck, biology and a bit of good timing.

Take care, whatever you decide we are always here...or the PG thread, or the 12 mnths+

Sorry I know that post was serious (and I agree totally) but this had me in stitches!

I got married in June - I didn't want to be a pregnant bride (even a month or two) but having done it if I were to go back in time I would say &*^% it and have started ttc a couple of years earlier and not put anything on hold for a single day!
    C xx
