Hi Ladies
Having a low PMA day today. Just feeling really sad about it all. OH was really shocked and looked really lost when I said I wasn't pg this month.:( I think it's starting to hit home for him now. I just have the horrible feeling of my life slipping away and not being in control. Have been throwing myself into my social life which I managed to acquire from somewhere(!) and been ok before today, so I blame work.
I think the sudden plethora of pg related threads on here atm isn't helping much!
So only 2 cbfm sticks in the box so I shall definitely be mse and ignore it, we're going freestyle this month!;)0 -

Hi Perdi - it is unsettling when you realise your fertility isn't necessarily something you have control over. And it is easy to get the impression other people can get pg on a whim. Hard not to be jealous.
On the plus-side, you have only been TTC 8-9 months - it's perfectly normal for otherwise healthy people to take up to a year to conceive.
Otherwise, if you get to the 12 month TTC stage, you can get some tests done at GP to rule out any probs.
But it's early days to be worrying about GPs and so forth. (Assuming you're under 35 - otherwise, get down there now.)

I trust your socialising is of the teetotal sort? Alcohol and caffeine are liquid contraceptives you know...!
Good luck.
I'm sure it'll happen, if you just keep banging away (so to speak) at it.
It took us 3 and a half years and then I conceived naturally. I hadn't made any major lifestyle changes or anything, I was at a normal weight all that time. Then wham, from nowhere. (Sort of. I did have a LAP&DYE which might have blown the cobwebs out my tubes). The chances are, you won't need it though, and it'll happen when it happens.0 -
Hi girlies - well af showed up today and so I am now going to bow out of this thread as it will be just too painful for me to continue to post
This was my last chance to get a bfp and despite bding at the right time it hasn't worked - I really felt that this was the month for me - bd on two of the three highs and both peaks.
My OH is determined that we should start using contraception again from now onwards as he doesn't want me to be pregnant or just having had a baby when we get married in August next year.
We have been trying since last October and save for a couple of months have bd at the right times and even using the cbfm from after easter onwards still no success so perhaps it isn't meant to be.
Not sure if we will try again after August next year as I will be 38 and OH will be 47 and so fear it will be too late.
Good luck to you all and I hope you all get your bfp's soon0 -
Not been on for a few days. First off wanted to say MASSIVE CONGRATS to Angelcake. Yey :j
Well guess what turned up after 4 months -AF. Very very very happy about that especially as I was due to start taking pills to bring her on this Friday!! The only thing is it is (sorry TMI coming) very very light and I just wondered if this was a *normal* thing after being on the pill. So any advice appreciated.
Thanks Claireloo
Glad you got your Af back.. I think that is is normal to have a light AF after being on the pill.. xx0 -

Aww ((hugs)) hunni..
I know I dont know you very well.. and dont know how long you have been ttc.. but its probably the best thing you can do to go freestyle.. just relax enjoy have fun.. bd every OTHER day eg Mon Wed etc from days 11 - 20 ..though even b`diing every 3rd day is also ok.. eg monday Thursday etc.. as the sperm needs time to build up again..
I also lay with my legs in the air after for about 5 mins..which gave my OH a laugh.. also keep up with your social life too!! xx0 -

Primmer my love.. dont give up!!
I am 39 and just found out I am pregnant.. so you wont be too old by then.. there are lots of mums in their 40`s these days.. I can tell you something,it will happen when you least expect it.. maybe thats the key `stop trying` just enjoy bd without contraception.. and it will likely happen soon..I didnt expect it..I have just had a reversal and am getting married in 12 days!! ..sorry if I am being nosy..but why doesnt your OH want you to have a baby just after the wedding?..
good luck with whatever you decide.. xx0 -
Clarieloo, glad your AF has arrived, now you can ttc for real!:j
Primmer & Perdi, massive hugs
I agree with going freestyle, BD should be fun, and I think one should not ttc, but let it just happen:) (well ideally anyway).
I'll most likely still be here Primmer next August should you wish to leave it 'till then:o0 -

Just wanted to say {{{HUGS}}}. Give up for now if you really think you should but would it really be that awful if you were pg when you get married?
