Well i've been thinking about this all day and wanted a bit of a rant/ moan!!!

So I did my CBFM test this morning and it turns out i've peaked already!!! I'm severly peaved because I had a huge argument eith DH last night and put us both right out of the mood, we've made up now but I'm really upset because I feel our hearts just not in it this month and the fact we havn't BD'ed since sunday makes me really worried!! :(

On the upside today is the 1st day I have actually felt ovulation pains consciously I mean. I must have felt these in the past and just by passed not being totally sure what they were but always strongest from my right ovary!!! Does anyone know how long i've got before its to late after this pain?? Must admit it was sorer than I imagined!!

OK now for a bit of upbeatedness (is that even a word!?!) I had the strangest dream last night, I was ultra aware of the goings on in my body even my heart beat and lungs going up and down and it got to ovulation day I swear to GAWD in this dream I could hear my ovary crack to release the egg :rotfl: I was so conscious of it that I was absolutely bursting for a wee that I refused to go because if I did my egg would escape and be flushed down the loo!!! :rotfl::rotfl:I'm surprised there were no men in white coats to take me away after that, if there was it was after I woke up!!! ;)

  • Deborah - who cares if it's not a word. I'm going to use it anyway, but then I am well known for using made up words. And there's still time for you this month. It seems a few people have had rows recently - hopefully there'll be lots of making-up BDing :rotfl:

I am worried we've missed our chance this month as well. DH had to have sperm analysis and obviously can't have any emissions (I loved their phrasing of it) for 3 days before. And those 3 days coincide exactly with when I *think* I ovulated. It's so unfair! But for a bit of upbeatedness, the SA results came back and the quality is a bit poor but the count is high. The Dr said what he lacks in quality he should definitely be making up for in quantity :rotfl:

But now I am even more confused. I thought after this long there must be something wrong with one of us but we both appear to be normal. So why no BFP?

My CBFM arrived a while ago and my sticks should be here tomorrow so we're gonna I've that a good go next month. If not I think I will definitely be joining team sticky.

Phunkles - is it possible that they have to advertise it? Where I used to work they were sometimes forced to do that and the boss would put off other applicants as much as possible to ensure the internal candidate was best placed to get it. I'd be annoyed but maybe your boss will tell you and ask you to apply? If not then I'd definitely be looking for another job. Good luck with it all though

    Thank you! :D

I was the same I stupidly or naively decided I'd come home from honeymoon with a souveneir that would last a lifetime!!!

I just wish DH would hurry up from work been counting the hours since this morning, knowing he'd be taking ages to get home!!!

I wasn't expecting to peak yet, its only CD11 but I'm glad ive used my CBFM this month as I would have missed it otherwise!!

  • Hello ladies,

CD9 and as requested poas for CBFM and low, will be high tomorrow without doubt. TMI alert but had a bit of brown last night after playing netball, guessing just end of AF, but bit late for me normally nothing after CD7.

No BD yesterday so told OH that he has no option but for a quick half time special as we are watching football tonight. So i'm still a virgin...in terms of preseed!

Diet going well, think the pills ok, none of the side effects so guess my low fat diet just about right.

Phunkles...I'd be peed off in your shoes..but after the carp I've been through I don't trust anyone right now. Do what you want for you, life is too short as I keep saying. Is there anything work wise near OH? Is moving realistic? Not sure what to say but have some hugs x

Deb...don't fret hun, you normally get 2 peak days...can you kiss and make up tonight? On the positive as you say you could have missed ov.
:heart2:Baby boy madbird arrived 15/06/11 by emergency csection weighing 9lb 13oz:eek: love him so much xx:heart2:

  • Yep, carry on tomorrow and poss until you go to low again. As this is your first cycle with CBFM then perhaps play ball and POAS as demanded then it will get to know you....but as you'll get a BFP this month it will all become irrelevant....bit of PMA for you there!

Mrs Walker don't give up. I BDed 2 days before peaks and 1 day after and got PG. Hopefully bean is still there when we go for scan tomorrow but don't give up all defeatist thinking a peak is the be all and end all. The month that I got PG as in last one (!) I was a wreck and upset we didn't dtd on the peaks and little did I know bingo.
It's more important to be happy and enjoy the sessions you do have. You're newly wed, enjoy each other. I've the thing in my head that me and BFFs kids will be a year apart blah blah blah but if this bean is not to be, I just have to add a few months to what I was hoping. It's amazing when things do go a bit Pete Tong how much your DH loves you. x

Phunkles ((HUGS)) and get that applying head on. If you want it go for it (it may be the whole it needs to be seen to be advertised and even though I did a maternity cover for 10 months, I had to compete for my job). If you get offered it, then you decide what is best for you. You can always walk away then but try and make sure you have the best set of options to choose from without cutting your nose off to spite your face. You will know what to decide when the time comes. x
