we were discussing the possibility of me doing something more local to home then, with felxible hours, like shop work. That way, I'd be able to drop kids off at nursery/school (when the time comes), and pick them up again at the end of each day.

Hi everyone, hope we've all had a good Monday :) I think I'm due to ov this weekend, I did try and start using my brand spanking new Fertility Monitor but I made a right harry-halls of it all (long story) so it'll have to be a good guess this month :) Would be fab to have a BFP this month as it's my OH's birthday but we shall see, feeling slightly optimistic :D

afternoon ladies hope everyone is well. i am shattered today i woke up at 5 for some unknown reason. off for a blood test tomorrow to check my thyroid is behaving itself so fingers crossed.

QQ i guess short cycles are a bonus I must get an extra shot in a year at making a baby. I think we are going to go for the really relaxed approach this month and i'm going to put the opks away and just go for every other day from when af stops and when it starts again! i know its unlikely with these drugs due to the thyroid but still. I mean neither of our parents had any problems, my mother in law fell pregnant 4 times in 4 years although two miscarriages, my mum fell pregnant within about 4-5 months of trying, my mum didn't use OPKs or anything like that and i love the sound of simple!

going to get on with planning our holiday and getting fit for that! oh and No SYMPTOM SPOTTING!
    Crafting for 2009 items done
One patchwork blanket, two neck supports, one tea cosy, one knitted bunny, one knitted egg!

What happened to the fertility monitor? You can set it to CD5 tomorrow morning, and use it from so called CD6?

You can manually read the sticks too, without the monitor:)

    Evening Guys

I need a little vent. My DH thinks that because he's underweight (Due to being a fussy eater and eating 5 year old's portions) that it's fine to eat 14 iced donuts in the space of 7 days!!! I never tell him what to do or eat, we kind of have separate lives under the same roof, lol!! However he thinks it's funny that I'm concerned about his health (was born with a heart defect and has had a lot of other issues over the years, has also been diagnosed with Noonan's syndrome which has 50/50 chance of each of our children getting). He's now ignoring me and has gone to bed (Was in work at 4 this morning) just because I say something he doesn't like, Aaarggghhhh!!

Anywhoo, on a slightly positive note. I went to the beauty House down the road from me as I saw they had acne treatment. I've had spots since I was 10, even when I was on the Pill. I changed the pill the last couple of years I was on it to combat my spots with no luck. Since coming off the pill in October they have become increasingly worse. They are constantly breaking out and even all over my neck, chest and shoulders, (flashbacks to being called peperomi pizza face and dot to dot in school). Well the lady was very helpful, have booked my first treatment for Thursday. She also suffered badly but now has clear skin, she said I need to find the cause, i.e food intolerance. So I looked online to get tested and decided on the hair analysis (the blood test one is really expensive and does the same thing). It looks great and could be why I'm tired all the time (just thought I was lazy and I work shifts, lol). They test your hair and tell you what foods your body can't handle and should see results when you elimate them!! It helps for so many different symptoms, e.g IBS, migranes etc.

Well sorry about the long post. CD11 for me and awaiting OV. Going to watch OBEM downstairs and hope DH is asleep when I go up. I'll make up with him in the morning before I start work ;)

I guess - we have Bd quite regular over the weekend just in case :) I am trying to see how everyone elses temps pan out ... I suppose I will get used to my pattern with in a few months.

I used to have 2 jobs, DH isn't great at housework so I always seem on the go ... I now just have the one job but get paid to work the additional if needs be - whenever the systems are playing up!!;)

I hope the sulk wears off soon!! He won't realise that you just care about his health ... could you possibly not buy as many treats if you do the shopping?

  • @ kimmy - Be careful with that food allergy thing. I seem to remember seeing a tv programme where they tested out the hair analysis thing in different locations with the same person, and the results varied wildly. If it works though - let me know. I have such a spotty back.

Think I may be out for this month already. EWCM (quite early but definitely there). We attempted a BD earlier but DH got stage fright.

If it helps any my mum waited years for me. Didn't make an appearance til she was in her 40s.
