morning! why is that mother nature not only makes us deal with this messy thing once a month but she makes it painful as well!!!!!!! i was on the pill for a few years up until two years ago and then my thyroid meant i didn't have real periods. however these last few have been officially real and i don't feel i was missing out at all!!!!!!!
(((Hugs))), if not ttc, my long cycles were a blessing:p

Well my relaxed approach has slapped me in the face! CD1, yes CD1 meaning last month was a 23!!!! day cycle.

Perhaps another relaxed cycle will do the trick:o

CD65 here and FF thinks ive ovulated (i think so too - lots of EWCM this weekend) shame DH was on a stag weekend :(
Looks like you have ov'd, when did you last BD?
    colli wrote: »
I guess I'm about 14 dpo now. AF officially due on Sat but I ovulated about 3/4 days early so likely to come on Weds maybe? Too early to test? I've been a ss maniac this month and feel like I'm setting myself up for a fall :( Thank god for you ladies, you all keep me sane(ish!) :T
    14DPO is OK to test:)

    QQ - I see you ov'd! Wahoooo!!
I think I ov'd a day later than what FF says:)
My BIL's gf seems to like to strip off and get changed in front of everyone, which has really pee'd me off. Nearly showed her foof at one point! I don't think it's unreasonable to ask my OH to have a quiet word with his brother before his next visit, do you? It made me very uncomfortable, especially as it is quite obvious she has a little crush on my OH.

Just wanted to get that off my chest and get some opinions. ie, make sure I'm not just being paranoid.
    Quiet word sounds fine:o
CD14 here for me, I am currently temping and using the ovulation sticks - I thought I was out of the game as I had my temp rise at CD8 but its been up and down all weekend (I haven't updated FF) yet :( But I got ewcm yesterday which lasted all day ... descriptions and consistancy to match FF descriptions so who knows. My only thought is I am temping wrong - We sleep with the fan on all night and I sleep open mouthed! Will carry on temping to see what happens!!
    Hope you update FF soon:o

OH and I keep talking about the possibility of me being at home for the first few years though, so we'll see.
    That would be lovely:happyhear.
    Not possible for me though:o
I let him know that the fertility window was only, approx 3-5 days, so he won't need to do it that often. And hey, you only have to do it once a day if you want to be really sure! :rotfl::rotfl:

    He does make me laugh!
It's amazing how little men know about these things:rotfl:

yeah ditto! exactly what i think in my circumstances! xx

Ditto here. And I think OH forgets that sometimes.

He was only saying yesterday 'We're not rich, but they seem to think we are.'. And I had to remind him, that, compared to them, we are. We both have full time jobs, a bigger appartment (although tiny, it isn't a bedsit like theirs), and just generally more disposable money. Whereas, they are struggling to find full time work and are working several min wage part time jobs just to make ends meet.

So, from their point of view, we are well off.

Keza, I can't believe your SIL tried in on with your DH!! Truly shocking!:mad: I don't know how you kept quiet, you angel! :A

I like to think I'd give her a peice of my mind, but then, maybe that is what she's after all along, so I don't want to give her the satisfaction, IYSWIM. I think I still would though, if for no other reason than to just let her know how disgusting her behaviour is.

QQ - It may not be possible for us either. Maybe, it's a possibility. I hope it is, but the extra cost of a baby and a bigger home will obviously effect the finances. So, I suspect I may have to head back to work at least part time. But, we were discussing the possibility of me doing something more local to home then, with felxible hours, like shop work. That way, I'd be able to drop kids off at nursery/school (when the time comes), and pick them up again at the end of each day.

We'll see, that is also dependant on me speaking fluent Dutch by then. Oo-er!

Is that not detailed in your employee manual?

Also, I thought the EU ruled last year that it had to be a minimum of 5 months? Which was great for me, as my company was only offering 3 months before that!

Theres nothing in my contract hon, and we don't have an employee handbook but theres some online resources, and can't seem to find anything specific there either. Because they've told us about the redundancy six months in advance ie. before i'm PG then not sure if they have to give us a bean if i get pg after them telling us! xx
OH and I keep talking about the possibility of me being at home for the first few years though, so we'll see.

Bless him, every now and then he asks for a bit more information about TTC'ing. Yesterday was 'I know I joked about doing it 3 times a day, every day, but I don't think I could really keep up with that in reality. I'd be exhausted! Do we have to do it that often when we start trying?'. :) Bless him!

It would be lovely to be at home those first years, thats the way my mum did it and would like to do so too if at all poss xx

LOL your OH has some stamina!!! its sweet that he's interested in learning more about TTC :)
I think this must be really common with in laws - My SIL also has a real problem with me but is my DH sister so I have put it down to jealousy with us having our own place and a bit more cash than them??

Ooh fingers crossed!! Redundancy looming is very stressful, i hope things turn out ok for you!!

    Thanks ATTB :)

Shocked at the amount of jealous SILs!! they're giving us women a bad name. Thankfully my OH has two sisters and no bro's so his sisters aren't trying it on with him!!! Also, they're both really nice so thats lucky. Its a tricky one i imagine you have to be careful what you say to avoid big family feuds etc.

Welcome to the madhouse Keelykat :)

Sounds like the sil is just a tad young and maybe a little insecure Euro? No need to flash her bits around mind you ;)

Roll on home time, ive had enough of today. My Zumba game arrived today too, cant wait to get home and try it out. I do a class already each Thursday, but Id like to get better. Even facing the same way as everyone else would help lol.... Im figuring get thin before I get fat :)

Yeah, she is young and I probably a little insecure, which is why I brushed off the comments from her. Plus, comments on my appearance don't really bother as much as comments about my life choices/work etc. So, she can comment away for all I care! lol. But.......the flashing her bits around IS what bugs me.

I shall talk to OH about it tonight and see how it goes.
