    Hello all!! :hello:

I've been a long time lurker of this site, spent many and hour (or two :shhh:) reading some amazing stories on here. I'd thought I'd join and see what people’s opinions are on my current situation. I'm not after any medical advice of course, I know that's a big no no :naughty:

I came of Microgynon 30 in January 2010 having been on it for about 2 years. Before I was on Microgynon, whilst on it and initially after coming off it my AF was regular and followed the same pattern. I never experienced an major pains/cramps and they always last about 4 days with a definite start and end date, mixture of medium and fairly heavy days. Since I came off Microgynon we have been BD when we felt like it rather than at the optimum time so wasn't really expecting to conceive. Since December my AF has become lighter, 4 days light then one medium day followed by another light day. This month I was expecting AF to show up around 16th but on 11th and 12th I had an extremely light AF hardly anything there at all and nothing since. I did 2 HPT's in January (following the change in AF in December), one at the start and one at the end, both were BFN (Asda's HPT if that makes any difference). Recently I've noticed my jeans are becoming more 'snug' although I thought that was my increased appetite, then also realised I’ve been munching for England these last couple of months, I don't think I've had the usual AF symptoms either. Well I don't think I ever have them but DH says otherwise. I also noticed a few 'twinges' in my stomach but nothing like when AF is due, hard to describe how they feel, more sudden and sharpe twinge in the middle of my stomach area rather than a cramp. I do plan on booking an appointment with the doctor but you have to book your appointments about 3 weeks in advanced, I’m also not very keen on our doctor either so may register with another. So I was just wondering what you more experienced ladies made of it all. Deep down I don’t think I am pregnant but I guess you never know.

Anyway like I said, was just wondering if anyone else had been in this position before.

    Thanks for reading!

Have you done a hpt since January? That'll be the 1st thing the doctor will ask or do!!!

Also do you have any allergies??? Only I read somewhere that a women ballooned after eating wheat and it turned out she was intolerant!!

I say do the test!!! Rule it out at least as it has been a good few weeks if no test since Jan!!!

I really dont like B&Bs and to some extent hotels (mainly the small kind though) OH loves them though I think im just a rude person and dont really want to socialise at a fixed breakfast time with people who I dont know and either - we've heard them at the rudies or they've heard us at the rudies. Think the b&b we stayed in Cornwall really put me off - small tourist village, B&B above the pub which was really only used by the locals at night and the odd tourist home cooked food my bum, the cheese cake was still frozen :( Id much rather stay in a caravan or a log cabin thing - shall be my mission to get oh to stay in another option this summer me thinks :) Big hotels where theres lots of guests i can do, also with a period of time for breakfast not just an 8am breakfast Im on holiday with my fella I do not want to be getting up at 7 ;)

Truthfully Ive no idea whats going on with me.... ewcm today though to add to me list of complaints think im broken :s might do a fmu test in the morning (only have ic's though)

Darkfaery - Wasnt in court today and im not there tomorrow either -

Sure I had something constructive to post but I havent so I dont know oh yeah it was
    oh is very original and just says t i t s ( . Y . ) I have a cleave :P
Love is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy,And sometimes life can be deceiving,
I'll tell you one thing, its always better when we're together

My question is how do you keep things romantic rather than an action IYKWIM. Our main problem is that we work different shifts, he goes to work early in the morning and by the time he finishes I have to go to work in the evenings and by the time I get back he's asleep. So am finding it difficult to BD as I have to wake him up which kinda kills of any form of romance.
    Welcome vesper:wave:
I'm still working on the way to keep things spontaneous & romantic:D

Would you like to be on the list on the first page?
Would something like this be OK?

    Hi QQ

I had a + OPK Friday then a - OPK Saturday, so would I be 4dpo?? My temps have confused me this month as I normally have a drop!!
You think you ov'd on Sat CD16? According to your chart, CD17 looks more likely, but you know your body best:cool:

I will see if I test tomorrow or thursday (bought some supermarket own brand test kit). Not sure quite sure if AF was start today or tomorrow but was in bed early last night as very tired and a slightly sore chest - we will see what happens. If not successful, then going to ease off next month as it would land too near christmas.
    Good luck:)

If 11th was implantation spotting, then you should be able to get BFP soon. That spotting could have been ov, in which case you need to wait 2 weeks.

Some people get negative hpts for weeks even if they are pg, so only way to be sure is by going to the doctor and getting a blood test or scan.
    Fingers crossed:)

Oh, oh, flashbacks of taking off my thumbnail in an accident at 3! Horrid, absolutely horrid. How are you? I hope it doesn't hurt too much!

It may take a while, or you may be fine. My first cycle after the pill was only 29 days, but I know others who waited months before first AF showed up.

You'll probably notice certain symptoms more though. I noticed OV pains, ewcm and then had sore norks for 2 weeks before AF showed! :rotfl:

Hope it all goes smoothly for you!
