How can I be ssing after an af and without dtd since af :S Guess Im just a freak:( I actually am wondering if I wanted to get a bfp this cycle this month that my bodies just messed up a bit :S

That's what i'm hoping for with Jury Duty:) i thought if they let me go i would have to go back into the office but found out yesterday that's not the case and i'll get paid my full salary no matter what so quite looking forward to it now!

I would say if your symptoms don't ease or go away then see a Dr. Without being too personal erm are you using the toilet ok? A lot of those things i get when i haven't been for a long toilet :rotfl:in a while, IYKWIM?

    Hope you get sorted x

QQ - please can you change my test date to 27 March and maybe ov to 1dpo..? What do you think?

Seems like the little chat I had with my thermometer worked this morning as my temp seems to have jumped back up ;) I would like to say I think it's safe to say I have ov'd but if I keep temtping fate, I'll collapse from all the mandatory BDing...

    Morning All,

Tried to make an appt with doc to get IUD fitted this afternoon (as now is the ideal time in my cycle) and was told that Friday morning was the earliest appt available (it has to be a double appt). I explained to the receptionist that I was advised it needed to be at this point in my cycle, and she said 'Well, if you'd called me on the day your period started, then I could've made an appointment for you on the right day!'. Bloomin' cheek! I readily informed her that that was impossible as I started my period on Saturday, when the surgery is closed, and also that the doctor told me to call when I was nearing the end of my period. 'Oh', was all I got in response. When I asked if another doctor in the surgery was available to do it, she said 'No, they're fully booked too.' immediately, so I know she didn't even check! Arghhhh!

My mossie bites have also swollen up, as they do (I'm allergic), and the one on my knee has made my knee very uncomfortable and achy. :(

Also, OH is very stressed at work at the moment, and with some other stuff with his family. So, we were having a long chat about it last night, to get it off his chest, and also try and figure out solutions etc. I think he's feeling a bit better, but a lot of the current problems we can't do much about and he just seemed so unhappy when he was heading to work yesterday. Broke my heart. :(

I'm sorry, low on PMA today.

    xx

So, Friday it is, and it will probably hurt. And I couldn't get a late afternoon appt, only an early morning one, so I may have to take the day off as hols now as I also have another appt for something else at 2.30 that day. Arghhh.

Thanks Jen. At least my manager and immediate superior (both female) are understanding, and have told me that Friday will be a sick day for me. I may be fine and it doesn't hurt at all, but they are aware that if it is painful, I won't be wanting to come to work. That plus the appt is 8.40, so I'd come to work late (prob about 10.30am), only to leave at about 1ish for a different appt I have at 2.30pm that day. Seems a bit pointless really.

I think he felt a bit better after talking to me last night. And I found some support material to help him and his family cope with the other problem. Just having some professional information that points out that what he is feeling is perfectly normal and natural was helpful I think. It also gave some advice on what to do and what not to do, and suggestions for planning a way forward which is great. He was really struggling with not wanting to say or do the wrong thing for fear of making it all worse. Unfortunately, it did also confirm some negative stuff he thought, but that is unavoidable. Better to be informed and prepared, than to be ignorant and hope it gets better by itself.

Sorry, I know it's a little cryptic, but I don't want to go into too much detail as he wouldn't like that. ALthough, I think he could do with using a forum that is dedicated to dealing with this stuff, but I couldn't find a suitable one online last night. Plenty aimed at the family member in question, but couldn't find any aimed at those affected by the family members 'action'. Sorry, cryptic again, I know.

Very excited for you though! :j:j:j Hoping the witch stays away for ohhhhhhh 9 months or so! :D
